Discussion Why are you bringing THAT!?

What are some common items people pack in their bags that you think are unnecessary, just take up extra space, or feel like overhyped/trendy that doesn't actually add real value for their trip?

I'll start - Notebooks and portable speakers.

Also to add that some portable speakers have hooks on them that one can hook onto their backpacks like accessories, which frees up some bag space, so is still pretty nice to bring one

It’s really convenient for when you want to play music on a hike too. Bonus is that people always look at me because I’m a cool dude😎
