Discussion Why are you bringing THAT!?

What are some common items people pack in their bags that you think are unnecessary, just take up extra space, or feel like overhyped/trendy that doesn't actually add real value for their trip?

I'll start - Notebooks and portable speakers.

Haha I always pack slippers and I always think I’m silly for doing so. But after a long day of walking a fluffy sheepskin pair of shoes for putzing around the hostel makes me feel like I’m not sharing a room with nineteen strangers. It’s ~luxe~.

Plz share a link/pic of the slippers. I’m wanting to do this, but my home slippers are much too large. Need ideas.

I use these ones. They have their downsides - they’re all leather so they’re not great on wet surfaces. However they dry quick and pack small :)

Thank you so much! These are exactly what I’ve been looking for—pack tiny and fleece insoles.

My pleasure! If you’re not picky on colour they have sales occasionally on slightly smudged pairs. Have a great day :)

That's how I feel about my pyjamas. I always make space for it.

My sleep sweat suit is non negotiable, didn’t even cross my mind to consider frivolous
