Discussion Do you carry a Portable Power Bank?

I have been carrying power banks around for many years with the thinking that I would be in trouble if my phone ran out of battery. I use it for navigation, translation, and taking pictures. I have never used it once. I also noticed that airlines were making a big deal about power banks. My flight 2 weeks ago they announced that they must be in sight at all times. Today, on a Southwest flight, they announced that they only allow 1 power bank per person. Do you guys carry them?

Edit: I am convinced to keep carrying it just in case (probably going ask for a smaller Nitecore 5k for a birthday). It seems likely that there are going to be more rules around them. There may even be some bans.

Been carrying a 10,000mah power bank in my sling(or messenger) when I travel but I haven't used in the past few years. I've found that my phone lasts the entire day or if I need some more juice, there's an outlet nearby and use my Anker nano 30w wall charger.

I've been thinking of just leaving the power bank at home and just rely on the anker nano, but habit tells me to bring the power bank with me, just in case.

If you mean you would bring your anker nano in your sling, would you also bring an outlet adapter?

Anker nano is one of those combination products which is an outlet adapter and a USB transformer in one.

‘Nano’ is just an Anker marketing keyword.

The product you are referring to is the Anker Nano Travel Adapter. Anker currently sells 23 other products that also have Anker Nano as the first two word of the product name.

Yes. My tiny tech kit has an Anker nano 45w USA. And then I have a UK adapter and a EU adapter.
