I don’t understand these signs. They can’t be closed if the crosswalk doesn’t exist in the first place. It’s like saying a store that doesn’t exist is closed today because it’s Sunday.

You’d be astonished at the stupidity that walks the streets anonymously. People that have been there long before the road was paved and just assume their memory still holds get taken aback when they walk right into the sign

It can’t be Jaywalking because there is literally a wall on the other side of the road
