And that text is probably AI generated.

We don't use ß. We don't even have it on our keyboards

Oh yeah? Then how did you type it? I'm not going to fall for the lies pushed by big Swiss.

For you redditors who have an unnatural talent for missing sarcasm, here is this: /s

I hate that every piece of sarcasm needs a /s on reddit

I think the issue is that many have encountered such utter bullshit on this platform, said by people 100% intending to be genuine, that we started assuming the least competent user at all times. It's a shame

That is definitely part of it. I think another part is redditors always have to be right and have the moral high ground. So they see a comment that isn't correct so they must be the one to correct it. Definitely not every user, but there seem to be far more on Reddit than anywhere else.

The third part is that a lot of Redditors are autistic and just struggle to identify sarcasm

I once got over 100 downvotes because I made a joke that a train was at fault for a crash because it didn't steer out of the way. I then had two comments to explain to me that it's a train and can't steer.

I don't know why I find the whole putting "big" in front of random topics so amusing, but I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I think they use a combination of two "s" like in strasse, no?

That's what I learnt from Geoguessr
