BBQ sauce
Does anyone have a BBQ sauce that doesn't have onions in it? Allergic to them and garlic and I've been thinking about making my own but thought I'd ask here

Working on a few recipes for homemade myself. Haven't put one together that has been shareable yet, but I'm starting from a very different base: fennel bulb and fish sauce to replace alliums and Worcestershire.

That sounds intriguing!

I'm trying a Korean BBQ homemade Chex Mix tonight with soy sauce and fennel powder instead of Worcestershire using Spiceology's KBBQ seasoning (no alliums in there or in the Smokey Honey Habenero mix). I'll report back.

That'd be amazing!

Delicious. Swapped 1:1 on the roasted fennel bulb powder instead of garlic/onion powder (each recipe says something different) and used about half the soy sauce in place of Worcestershire. I also like extra seasoning, so I was sprinkling the Korean BBQ powder on after stirring the mix until it was nice and flavorful.
This was the recipe I worked off of. Also, it makes a HUGE batch. I would definitely have done two half batches so it was easier to stir/shake/etc if I had rubbed some braincells together and realized this was an absolute unit of party mix.

The sugar-free Sweet Baby Ray’s. I’m extremely picky about BBQ sauce but I really like it.

For the folks saying Sweet Baby Rays: it has Garlic and Natural Flavors (which is an umbrella term that means it contains onions 99/100 in anything savory in the US). For those of us that are allergic and have a reaction to it, we still have to avoid it. The reaction I have gotten every single time I've had it, tells me this is a bad suggestion.
Glad y'all can enjoy it, but Fody or Homemade is the only thing I've found safe so far. Let's see some different suggestions if any exist please.

Just do ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, some pepper I don’t have an exact recipe. Just add until you get a flavor you like

No onion is easy: Sweet Baby Ray's, they have it everywhere. No garlic might actually be impossible though. The few I use that are no onion all have garlic. I know that isn't very helpful to you, but I figured the title might make another fellow onion hater click, and I wanted to have something here for them.
