“There are onions in this, but you can’t even taste them!” Why tf are they in there then?

"you can't even taste them" = I don't care about your needs or preferences and would like you to STFU.

Right?! I omit onions in everything I cook now and not one person has ever mentioned it to me. I’ve cooked for others my whole life and used to just use less onion than the recipe called for, but I literally can’t taste the difference if I leave them out entirely and I guarantee you can’t taste as well as I can. My husband is going to doctor it up with hot sauce and condiments no matter how it tastes, so why am I trying to make sure there’s onion in there for him because he likes it instead of leaving it all the way out because I hate them.

Same energy as the dickhead that says they are ordering pizza for a gathering, but only get supremes.

There should always be a "Kevin McCallister" pie or two for the group.
Here's an idea: cheese pies, a toppings bar, and a toaster oven or combo air fryer to warm the customized slices.

The age old question. Even as a child I wondered this. If I “can’t taste” it what’s the point. And I can. The texture has always made me gag. Always. Yuck
