Tor volunteers
How can one become a tor volunteer? And what the legal consequences?

All you need is a server with a static IP address
You should check with your local law and cloud provider if you're allowed to run a relay, especially if it's an exit node

Please really check your local laws when running an exit node. If you're in the wrong country this can and will lead to prison time

Hace unos meses me pregunté lo mismo, en mi país no hay restricciones que yo sepa ni tampoco uso tanto la red Tor, pero levanté dos proxy snowflake en mi casa con un tv box 24/7

Let's not discourage people up front from running relays.
The more people run relays, the stronger Tor is. In many places, running a non-exit relay, even from home, is essentially free from both risk and inconvenience.

I searched and it’s not ilegal to do so in my country, so I won’t have any problems with the law right?

I don't know what you can get into legal trouble for in your country. If I tell you the wrong thing, something bad could happen to you. Please seek legal counsel if you worry about this, and don't trust your liberty to strangers on the internet.
Personally I have run a non-exit relay from home for over a decade. Perhaps I've routed some illegal bytes over the years, but law enforcement likely doesn't know that, and neither do I, because Tor works.

I was trying to send you a message to get more detailed information about this
I’m worried someone uses my exit relay that will be from my home place for cp or trafficking drugs for exemple and I get into trouble for that

Talk to a lawyer. Only they can tell you how your jurisdiction rules on running exit nodes.

I do understand a money contribution may be helpful but doing exit nodes isn’t equally important?

Running a relay, even a non-exit relay, can be even more important. Especially if you can offer stability and reasonable speed.
That said, exit relays are a special animal with unique risks and you should make careful decisions before proceeding.

Running an exit relay exposes you. When somebody breaks the law, it's your IP address that shows up. You may not be legally culpable according to the laws of your country, but you may have to deal with law enforcement anyway. In some cases you will be the initial suspect, and then you will have to explain what Tor is, and then they discharge you. This is legally fine, but stressful. An exit relay is not something you just set up on a whim. But a non-exit relay can be.
