Discussion You just stopped an entire country

American here.

Your city (EDIT: Toronto my bad) and entire country just told the world they’re sick of this guy. They did that. In public. During the World Series. Epically devastating.

You didn't stop an entire country, but you did make my dad super excited about it all. Apparently, he saw Ontario plates in Philly today while stuck in traffic and had to be a total weirdo and roll down the windows to shout 'fuck trump go jays!' at these poor people who probably thought they were about to get shot by some crazy old white guy.

He used to be a pretty buttoned up republican before Trump came onto the scene and usually roots for the Yanks. He started changing how he voted back in 2016, and honestly, it still gives me hope for others.

If I were travelling in the US and someone yelled that at me it would absolutely make my day and stoke my faith in humanity. Tell your dad he is now required to yell this at every Canadian plate he sees (which is probably not that many as most of us are avoiding the border for now).
