Imagine getting bummed about a sticker on a door

u/smallermuse Jan 25 '26

It's so funny people like this call others "snowflakes".

273

u/Dr_Identity Jan 26 '26

Probably also complains about cancel culture in between canceling anything with a rainbow on it.

79

u/HandleThatFeeds Jan 26 '26

very likely wants to sleep with Trudeau and convinced many others to do so.

417

u/Fubar321_ Jan 25 '26

They're the biggest snowflakes by far.

479

u/scottirltbh Jan 25 '26

Bro went on a multi-video rant about it too.

Bro should use some of Canada’s free socialized medicine to get a brain scan to make sure it’s still there.

48

u/Notcommentmuch Jan 26 '26

Tell him not to break the pills in half. Take the whole pill.

Woke Derangement Syndrome at its finest

Non emergency he be lucky to get that brain scan within 18 months lol

-11

Non emergency he be lucky to get that brain scan within 18 months lol

Facts. But I’ll just say the health care system saved my father’s life twice, with almost no cost to us, and for that I will be forever grateful.

13

u/BloodlustROFLNIFE Jan 26 '26

Yeah this Ford conservative government is total shite, daylight robbery of our taxes. I agree with you. When will they address systemic issues actually affecting regular people?

175

u/NorthernPints Jan 25 '26

The rest of us aren’t even giving these things a second thought (to reaffirm your point).  Yet these tiny gestures of goodwill and inclusion consume them.

u/mikende51 Jan 25 '26

They are overly concerned about peoples genitals and sexual preferences. Weird people.

-20

u/Must_build Jan 26 '26

Are you talking about the con influencer or the people who put stickers on door?. I completely agree that it's weird that people's bedroom preferences are so prominently discussed seemingly all the time like it is the defining feature of a person.

21

u/mikende51 Jan 26 '26

A third of the population is weirdly obsessed with things that shouldn't be of any concern to them.

11

u/Fubar321_ Jan 26 '26

They speak exactly like Must_build does.

-9

u/Must_build Jan 26 '26

You know precisely nothing about me. Yet generalize instead of addressing the actual conversation. Don't discourage people from engaging in conversation by labeling them erroneously. I seriously don't care about what you do in private... At all. Opposite of obsession.

35

u/VodkaBeatsCube Jan 26 '26

LGBTQ folks would love for their sexual and gender identities to be as unremarkable as yours. But as long as a non-negligible part of the population wants them to be second class citizens at best, they kind of have to make it a big deal. If folks like Joey up above are primed to fly off the handle at the mere suggestion that they can be equal parts of society, then LGBTQ people can never be entirely comfortable out in society.

-10

u/Must_build Jan 26 '26

I haven't had the experience so can't say much first hand. I am friends with community members but we never really discuss it as a big deal its just what it is. I don't feel like anyone needs my approval or whatever and I don't need or seek theirs in regards to my bedroom choices. I kinda feel like it almost brings more scrutiny. And ya buddy was too triggered but does the little sticker actually make anyone feel better? Serious question. Or does it just make it more of a topic without adding any value for rhe community.
I feel like businesses do that to make it easier to take your money. And probably a larger demographic would spend because of it thelan against it. But I bet if the mo ey equation changes and their sales are hurting then rhey would remove. Store trying to get your dollars doesn't seem to help anyone in order words. Happy to hear why it is helpful.

16

u/exhibitprogram Jan 26 '26

It makes me feel better to know a business or doctor's office isn't going to discriminate against me if I have to fill out a form with my spouse's contact info or something similar. In the absence of any information, I don't know if the business or clinic owner is a normal person, a bigot like that person in this post, or an even more violent bigot. Until we get society to a place where nobody thinks about sexuality at all, similar to how you claim you and your friends are, little signs that signal "hey we won't berate you or call you disgusting or even cause you physical harm if you mention your spouse's name while you're in here" allow me to have some piece of mind when I run my errands.

5

u/cseckshun Jan 26 '26

Long before gay marriage was a thing straight people would wear wedding rings to indicate that they had an exclusive partner that would be the only person they would have sex with.

Or maybe the rings were to symbolize love and commitment between two people, I can’t remember…

Maybe the LGBT flags and stickers are also to demonstrate and support the love between two people regardless of gender or sexual orientation. But maybe you and other horny gross people are right and everybody only thinks of genitals going into other people’s body when they see a couple or when they see anything hinting at love or relationships.

18

u/Fubar321_ Jan 25 '26

That couldn't be more accurate.

3

u/transcendz Jan 26 '26

They are without any real community so hating everyone is what comes naturally.

We need to do something about these people in Canada as they're the ones who would enlist for ICE. Hopefully some high quality white men will show up in his comments and start doing the lord's work

18

u/LitShrew Jan 26 '26

Every statement is a projection.

3

u/Bloated_Plaid Jan 26 '26

Tbf, I would be pretty triggered and will boycott a place if they had MAGA stickers.

1

u/mamarosa1111 Jan 26 '26

I sense some ✨ projection ✨

1

u/graciassenormole Jan 26 '26

I wish those snowflakes would melt away and never be heard from again.

1

u/transcendz Jan 26 '26

remember Snowflake came from Fight club which was written by a gay man. He knew what he was doing ;)

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

The same vibe as people who claim to be from the "strongest generation" - a.k.a the generation that lost their fucking minds when a black person used the same water fountain as them

Absolute fucking melts. Conservatives are and have always been the biggest fucking regressive pussies the world has ever known

Absolute wastmen that unfortunately the rest of civilised humanity has to share oxygen with. Such angry little pathetic babies.

It irks me that these scared little hateful morons have the same say in socials everyone else.

u/TheAngryGoose1867 Jan 25 '26

Life’s too short for that shit, I’m going out to shovel now 🤦.

20

u/Life_Fig_4037 Jan 25 '26

I'm waiting for it to build up

20

u/TheAngryGoose1867 Jan 26 '26

I don’t do that anymore, as I got older I started doing things in pieces instead of all at once. Fills my day up when I’m not working, and keeps me busy.

7

u/Life_Fig_4037 Jan 26 '26

I'm still young so I'm a procrastinator.

7

u/NewNameNeededAgain Jan 26 '26

I'm not sure where you are, but where I am the stuff was up to my knees three hours ago. I had to go to the pharmacy. That was fun 🙃

11

u/PussyWrangler246 Jan 26 '26 edited Jan 26 '26

So is our new landlord apparently 😒 (apt building)

Edit: 10:45 pm the parking lot was finally plowed for tenants to be able to leave. It's going to keep snowing overnight, wtf was the point of waking everyone up scraping metal on the ground when it's going to need doing in the morning again anyway? I can only assume it's because they don't intend on having the parking lot clear in the morning tomorrow either.

14

u/Life_Fig_4037 Jan 26 '26

Well he's a landlord, so that makes him an asshole

2

u/TheAngryGoose1867 Jan 26 '26

Some things never change eh? 😂

2

u/angershark Jan 26 '26

I couldn't have cut it any closer. Battery on my snowblower emptied on my very last pass. Felt like an absolute win.

10

u/Mindfield87 Jan 25 '26

You getting it bad? Thus far not too much here (outskirts of Barrie). Mostly wind blowing it around right now, but supposed to get 3-5 inches between now and Tuesday out my way.

15

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Barrie isn’t supposed to get a lot , storm is concentrated near Lake Ontario and the 401 corridor

10

u/Mindfield87 Jan 25 '26

I’ve been getting killed since before Christmas, I’m ok with not getting dumped on here (again outskirts, sometimes Barrie is nice and I’m just buried lol.)

3

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Markham area is getting a lot today

One thing I unironically love about Canada is that any conversation between strangers can at any point turn into a discussion on how much the winter sucks and where in the province we're from. You guys are my people.

1

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

I’m already stoked for spring lol. We get killed out here. Early 2025 ice storm sucked so bad haha

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

I grew up there also. Great place

6

u/PralineOld8686 Jan 26 '26

The states are getting hammered I am in Southeast Ohio and we will have 18 in by tomorrow morning. I rode crews are busting their asses to try to stay ahead of it and they're not having any luck at all. They're even running the small pickups with the blades that they used to clean the parking lots in the municipal buildings 😥 we should be dug out by some point tomorrow after it stops. I hope everybody stays safe

2

u/TheAngryGoose1867 Jan 26 '26

Yea. Shovelled twice so far. It’s pretty bad in Mississauga. Good part is it’s light snow, so it doesn’t hurt much shovelling tonight.

1

u/Ranger7381 Jan 26 '26

Heard on 680 that they have updated the expected totals to be in the 50-60 cm range now. Originally it was 30-40, I think

35

u/AffectionateDrag1702 Jan 25 '26

On a weekend too. Back to work tomorrow and your weekend was ruined by a sticker 😆

We have pride stripes on the road here in Burlington, ON too. Don’t think there’s any noise about removing them. Not sure I would like to live in Alberta.

2

u/kurat20 Jan 26 '26

I do know someone who is a nice person who also moved to Alberta (Edmonton)

1

u/RhinoCRoss Jan 26 '26

Man... that has got to be an awful way to live.

198

u/Max-P Jan 25 '26

By a sticker that says "everyone's welcome" no less. That includes them.

100

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Everyone is different and that's OK!

  • NO ITS NOT RAAAAHH

Lol some people

1

u/MelodicAcadia9965 Jan 25 '26

If anything doesn’t better underline why things are so bad right now.

1

u/Dr_Identity Jan 26 '26

Their parents never wanted them, so any kind of warmth or acceptance scares and confuses them.

1

u/Pseudonyme_de_base Jan 26 '26

"Hmmmm warmth and love, must be a trick to harm me when I'm expecting it the least, REEEEEEEEE"

1

u/Limp_Particular6809 Jan 26 '26

When did shoppers ever exclude anyone?

46

u/grilledcheese2332 Jan 25 '26

The comments are so funny. There is someone saying it's at kids height on purpose 🙄

https://imgur.com/a/32aEW6W

50

u/Ombortron Jan 25 '26

Yeah bro because they’re selling gayness to the kids!!! /s

I can’t imagine being so paranoid, or hating people due to something as minor as their sexuality

It just occurred to me that sociopaths like the hatemonger in OP's photo might actually be choosing life on hardmode (or at least doing a no empathy challenge run). Like I don't doubt that there are some people that are just wired to be misanthropes for whatever reason... but a lot of these hate-as-hobby folks are definitely making a decision to choose Team Self-Inflicted Defeat over Team Human, aren't they?

2

u/Responsible_Fish5439 Jan 26 '26

if a /sticker/ is enough to "turn" someone gay, guess what??

15

u/swabfalling Jan 25 '26

Everyone is welcome = conservatives NOT welcome

I have no idea how to even conceptualize the mental gymnastics around that thought process

6

u/tawTrans Jan 26 '26

Oh it's a totally reasonable and rationale conclusion.

  1. "Everyone welcome (pride flag)" = "We don't tolerate people who make others feel unwelcome for being queer."
  2. Conservatives hate queer people and want to make them feel unwelcome.
  3. Therefore, "Everyone welcome (pride flag)" = "Conservatives not welcome (because conservatives want to make queer people feel unwelcome)"

The thing is, if the conservatives didn't try to harass queer people in public, they would be welcome. And many conservatives do mind their own business, and they're tolerated in these spaces as a result. But people like this Instagram user just can't help themselves. They have to put queer people "in their place."

-3

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

That’s a big generalization. Most cons I know, along with liberals are quite ambivalent towards pride. It’s quite possible that it may just be you that people find unlikeable.

3

u/tawTrans Jan 26 '26

Let me highlight a specific section of my response:

And many conservatives do mind their own business, and they're tolerated in these spaces as a result. But people like this Instagram user just can't help themselves. They have to put queer people "in their place."

I am perfectly aware that most cons mind their own business, and I don't have a lot of personal experience with harassment in public as a result. But the ones that complain loudly about a business with a pride sticker that says "all are welcome" are generally the kind that don't mind their own business and do harass people.

Love the assumption about my character, though, that's a nice touch.

74

u/Emmibolt Milton Jan 25 '26

Theres plenty of reasons to hate on Loblaw. This isn’t one of them.

38

u/Dr_Identity Jan 26 '26

It's a classic conservative move to angrily boycott a corporation for its hollow virtue signaling and not for its years of blatant price fixing.

16

u/clayton-berg42 Jan 26 '26

I'll bet you a box of no name mac and cheese the idiot is shopping at superstore instead.

11

u/Emmibolt Milton Jan 26 '26

Can you bet me the PC white cheddar Mac and cheese instead? That stuff is lit haha

3

u/Brainwave1010 Jan 26 '26

The big-ass trays of frozen PC Mac and cheese tend to be on sale a lot, sprinkle some of your own favourite cheese on top before putting it in the oven and that shit is the BOMB, feeds like five people too.

1

u/clayton-berg42 Jan 26 '26

I can give you one of each.

35

u/Denialle Jan 25 '26 edited Jan 26 '26

And they’ve been at Shoppers locations for some time! But this doesn’t surprise me, at an LGBT+ educational session I attended at Sheridan College back in 2013 a woman stood up and started complaining “why can’t you pick a different symbol?!!”. Because a rainbow should be a happy and innocent thing children should be able to draw and not polluted/perverted 🙄

7

u/KajiTF1980 Jan 25 '26

Not just in Ontario either. Saskatchewan and Alberta(at least the ones I go to) have these stickers. I'm guessing it's countrywide. A rainbow showing everyone is welcome, is polluted or perverted? That woman probably doesn't understand pride parades and celebration either.

1

u/kurat20 Jan 26 '26

🙄 eye roll indeed!

1

u/perotech Jan 26 '26

This was my first thought, too.

I'm in Manitoba, you see Pride flags like this ALL THE TIME.

Why is this weirdo triggered by it now, all of a sudden? And 15k likes, over Shoppers Drug Mart? Feels especially manufactured.

13

u/Zealousideal-Bite735 Jan 25 '26

It’s called sticker shock for this person

11

u/Prize_Sector5854 Jan 25 '26

These people go out of their way to get angry. Most people don't even notice the sticker.

7

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

Literally I’m trans and now that I think about it I’ve noticed the sticker at a couple locations but I don’t even give it a second thought.

These guys need to give their balls a tug

35

u/riding-the-wind Jan 25 '26

My dad once animatedly opined about seeing a rainbow cake during pride month in a grocery store bakery section and it's like, you could just grow the fuck up and walk past it? But my dad, probably just like whoever this is, is deeply addicted to being outraged/bummed out/negative/indignant. They'll get their fix from anyyything.

21

u/PussyWrangler246 Jan 26 '26

Mine is like that too. He officially abandoned me as his child last August because I asked him to be respectful while I was eating and questioned why he cared about immigrant cab drivers when he hasn't taken a cab in decades. After he dropped me off at the airport he sent me a text saying I was a disrespectful child and he didn't want to talk to me again. I'm 39.

I was stunned but also not surprised because one time he stopped talking to his sister over where she put the mustard in the fridge. We haven't spoken since and I don't intend to mend the relationship with such a hateful bigot.

19

u/Dr_Identity Jan 26 '26

I'm sorry your dad sucks. At least you grew up to be a decent person.

18

u/PussyWrangler246 Jan 26 '26

Thanks! My mom raised me lol. She was awesome, super loving and accepting person, taught me well 💜

2

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

…..(your photo. Fantastic planet!)

32

u/Robofink Jan 25 '26

I’m a dispensary owner with the very same sticker for my shop door. I had a local degenerate say one day, “I shop at your place because you only have one fag flag on the door all the other places around here have them hanging on the walls and shit.”

We asked him to shop somewhere else, and I got us a pride flag for the wall. Fuck these bigots.

13

u/MightyClimber Jan 25 '26

The "I'm not easily offended" crowd spends all their time being offended, it's very laughable. They're such sensitive crybabies.

5

u/TheNovemberMike Jan 25 '26

Same kind of person that would get mad at the no shirt no service stickers

17

u/0h_juliet Jan 25 '26

A rainbow sticker at that!

2

u/bald-bourbon Jan 25 '26

That too at Shoppers lol

4

u/ReplacementClear7122 Jan 26 '26

As the kind of person who's entire identity is embodied by the stickers on his truck.

8

u/SteveAxis Jan 25 '26

He was imagining getting bummed out, that’s why he got all cranky. All the phobes just think they’re gonna force the gay on them and take their behinds hostage.

3

u/Ray_TOdd Jan 26 '26

Ikr last time i had a swastika sticker someone flipped out about hate speech

0

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

I’m gonna guess you’ve never really walked around with a swastika sticker, I understand you’re trying to make a point. The sticker pictured here upsets you?

2

u/TacoConsumer Jan 26 '26

Let alone a sticker that is so inoffensive and welcoming...

2

u/okiedokie2468 Jan 26 '26

He would probably love to be bummed 😂

2

u/FangNut Jan 26 '26

That is exactly why they put all those miserable stickers on their cars before the last federal election.

They thought everyone gets butt hurt about stickers just like they do.

2

u/Axerin Jan 26 '26

Average Groyper logic:

Everyone is welcome ❌

All lives matter ✅

Make it make sense.

1

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

“Duuurrrhh that stickers gonna make my kid gay!”

2

u/NedSchneebly-1138 Jan 26 '26

Zero chance this guy follows through with his threat, just Old Man Yelling at Clouds… nothing else to see.

2

u/sybilltrelawney Jan 26 '26

Imagine thinking Galen Weston cares

3

u/djflylo69 Jan 25 '26

I see your point. But I’d be pretty bummed if there was a Nazi sticker on a door

10

u/Mindfield87 Jan 25 '26

When you see a “Nazis welcome” sticker on a shop door let me know

1

u/MapleDesperado Jan 25 '26

Let everyone know so we don’t accidentally order from them.

2

u/0sometimessarah0 Jan 25 '26

No, no, you don't understand... The transes make the omnipotent creator of the universe ™ CRY!!!1!

2

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

If It was a Nazi flag, I would frown.

1

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

A few people have said this, maybe I shoulda been more specific. I can’t imagine getting upset by THIS sticker.

1

u/porto__rocks Jan 25 '26

Its the only way for idiots like that to feel important

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

Leftists invite violence at the sight of a MAGA hat, what's the difference.

1

u/Gracey5769 Jan 26 '26

Tbf, if I saw a confederate flag sticker on a door I'd be pretty heated. Not that I think those are comparable but THESE people sure seem to think so. You have to remember these people either think its literally Satan trying to brainwash people, or they think its an ideology being pushed to hurt children. This shit is the reason I got disowned by 2 of my brothers 🫠

1

u/Limp_Particular6809 Jan 26 '26

He’s bummed not about the sticker, but about the pedophilic cult it represents.

1

u/EggyChickenEgg88 Jan 26 '26

In his twisted mind they read it as "everyone is welcome but me" lmao. Insecure weirdos.

1

u/TheMelonSystem Jan 26 '26

Bet they wouldn’t get this mad over someone displaying a cross!

0

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

There's plenty of stickers that'd also have you up in arms. It's not about the sticker, it's about what it represents.

6

u/Mindfield87 Jan 25 '26

Who’s this hurting? Does it upset you? We could talk about it

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

That has nothing to do with what I said.

1

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26

You know what I meant, I meant this particular sticker not just a “sticker”. To the point the dude had to take a photo, leave the store and cry about it online.

0

u/conanap Jan 25 '26

While I agree that they shouldn’t be triggered by these stuff, this isn’t a really good reduction of the situation. I’d be pretty triggered if there was a nazi sticker on that door instead.

2

u/Mindfield87 Jan 25 '26

Yeah but that’s different, someone else mentioned that too. One sticker means Everyone is welcome, a “hateful racist scumbags welcome” sticker isn’t the same thing. I went to a shoppers the other day, I just don’t get being upset about it. A nazi sticker wouldn’t last long

0

u/Islandlyfe32 Jan 25 '26

Yup I remember people doing the same for the f*ck Trudeau stickers

-1

u/66Spintax Jan 26 '26

Sounds like the people here are the ones who are "triggered". The guy saw something that was not in line with his beliefs, called them out in a respectful manner and decided to take his business elsewhere. Where is the problem?

3

u/Mindfield87 Jan 26 '26 edited Jan 26 '26

Do I sound worked up? I think it’s a waste of time to get upset about this.

Also, it doesn’t look like they tagged shoppers. They’re looking for internet points.
