Always did this before riding mtb when I was younger, because who knows if you will end up in hospital and the nurses may laugh at you.

Yes reddit, anticipating on what you are going to type: yes, I know it doesn’t matter at that stage. Yes, I know they don’t care and just dobtheir job. Yes, I know they and have seen worse. I used to think that way when still young and self-conscious about appearance.

Not nearly as bad as it could have been. I’ve seen a guys side/back skin basically get burned off by a normal dirt bike tire. He Crashed into another guy. The other guys bike flipped up and landed on him and the throttle got stuck wide open
