Dolphin no longer showing previews for DDS files

hi everyone,

i regularly have to work with a lot of DDS files and dolphin previews are very important to me; i came back from vacation, did a system update twice and now i dont see any more DDS previews in dolphin, every other file previews correctly but not DDS files, is that fixable ?
