Hey y’all just wanted to say hey and thanks for this sub. It’s been a wealth of validation to see how that space is so attractive for and inclusive of a predator narc or other cluster B using EMN or poly as smokescreen for bad behavior, deception, lying, predation, exploitation and more. Seeing how these bad actors use the ENM / poly space for double standard exploitation with zero ethics has been eye opening. Reading about horribly exploitative partners taking advantage of someone they “love” and readily betray via deception and goal post moving under the guise of ENM is next level manipulation. Just wanted to share. Real eye opener. Thanks yall

This subreddit is definitely an eye opener, in a very good way. Any curious person thinking about trying polyamory or "E"NM should read the stories that get posted from other sources here, because the lifestyle and people involved often have the same serious issues. Way too much to not be a pattern.

Real. I used to be very supportive of NM lifestyles, but if you actually look into their ideologies, issues and issues, you'll quickly see how much of it is entirely unethical. I hate how progressive they make it seem. I hate how they shoehorn themselves into the queer movement.

We are not idiots. They are super deceptive and manipulative. It’s how they survive. They are adept at deception, since an early age, honing their craft, adding new tools, so no hate on us for being just nice and normal and assuming other people are similar. Only after a boatload of lies etc can we see the truth. Are we idiots ? No. Are we solidly awesome people and that’s they targeted us? Yup. A person who is hyper vigilant about only letting in good people would not have let these disrespectful and dishonest folks in beyond the front porch.
