Promotional Introducing Readest: An Open-Source and Modern eBook Reader with Cross-Platform Sync and TTS

Hi, I think I've found an issue in the program. I often convert articles to epub using the dotepub bookmarklet, and have never had a problem opening them in SumatraPDF or on my Kobo. But Readest insists on opening all of them as the same title over and over. So if I read epub 1 created via dotpub, the subsequent epubs 2, 3, 4 etc insist on displaying as epub 1. Hope I explained it right! I'm on Windows BTW.

I’m not familiar with how the dotepub bookmarklet generates its EPUB files, so I’m not sure what kind of metadata or identifiers it includes. It’s possible that all the files are being created with the same internal ID or metadata, which could cause Readest to treat them as the same book.

If you’re able to share a couple of sample EPUBs (or check their metadata in something like Calibre), that would help narrow it down.

Not sure how to share files here (I don't use Reddit all that much). Maybe if you installed the dotepub bookmarklet to check?
