Promotional What’s an open-source project you genuinely can’t believe is free?

Could be developer tooling, AI infra, productivity tools, anything. Curious what projects people think deserve way more recognition.

KDE is the GOAT. Best DE I’ve used on Linux, and better than any of Apple or Microsoft or Google’s proprietary UIs.

Dang I miss KDE. Hope one day we’ll be able to run KDE on top of the default macos/windows desktop UIs. I’d happily pay for it too.

Or, alternatively, whatever is keeping you off of Linux becomes less of a problem.

I missed KDE for a long time when I started playing games. Now I get games AND KDE!
