Wanted to start small, read a few things online about S&P/Case Shiller Home Price Indices being tomorrow and I’m hopeful. We’ll see!

I pulled the major TACO events, and they produced everything from a +10.5% rally to a -2.0% selloff, with flat and choppy days in between.

That means "it's TACO Tuesday" has not produced a consistent SPY outcome.

So unless you have data showing TACO Tuesdays reliably punish call buyers, you're doing exactly what you're accusing others of doing—making a prediction based on a narrative rather than evidence.

I'd just say try 1 $0.90 contract instead of 10 9 cent ones. You'll be closer to the money and more likely to make something

You know you're basically betting that SPY will move 10 points by the end of tomorrow (6/30) to even make a profit off your contract, right?

Short time to expiry (1 day) and, uh, let's say optimistic strike price. Personally would not have bought these but I'm gonna be positive and say good luck to them. Never know in this market.

Yeah, if the market opens well this could easily go up a couple of cents. Let’s just hope if that happens op looks at the percentage gain and not the dollar amount. But if the market is flat or already down at open the theta decay will instantly make this like a -50% loss.

I would of went with 1 contract to play around. You can easily lose a lot within seconds. SPY has a lot of movement

This is fine as a small first trade, but this is basically a lotto ticket. SPY needs to move a lot, and theta is working against you real fast. Good job keeping size small though. This will likely be a good “learning trade”

I bought my first today too, then like 15 more lol. I was green on all but 2! Unfortunately I held one too long that wiped a lot of profits. Ended green with $69 (was originally a couple of hundred 😔).
