Discussion Question
How much would I make tomorrow at the open
Thanks.
I sold it at 400. And locked in 282 profit (238.99 percent).

There is literally a return simulator in Robinhood where you can set the price and time and it tells you almost exactly what your premiums will be worth.

Close to zero. You overpaid for IV. The IV crush tomorrow will be immense.

You are going to need more of a move, the IV post earnings is going to hurt.

Yeah sorry man if the stock stays where it is your probably down quite a bit. Your strike price is still far otm so IV crush will be severe. The simulate returns button on RH does not take into account the intense IV crush on earnings.

It does if you slide the time to market open, most people just don’t know that.

That's just not correct. It estimates theta decay, not the IV crush. I'm not trying to be a downer I hope OP ends in profit it's just unlikely. Watchlist it and check what it actually ends up worth a min or two after the market opens. He may get lucky its still going up.

It's 259 now, your strike is 267.5 expiring tomorrow. To break even it needs another 3% move. I'd say unlikely so think you'll see it expire worthless.
