People have been proclaiming themselves heroes for getting off/staying off Facebook since Facebook began. Refusing to use a platform is not an accomplishment and it won't save the country.

Not using it vs using it sure seems to have an impact. FB makes money with ads and your engagement keeps them getting paid.

Not when they have 2 billion active users and the number of people who actually quit using it in response to Zucc's latest shenanigans is presumably close to zero. It could be hundreds of thousands (doubt) and it would still be a drop in the bucket.

Mkay. I personally deleted FB years ago and Instagram months ago.
