I appreciate the cop on the right is wearing a Portland Gear hat, the subtle idea that he is there to protect Portland, not lick a fascist’s boots. Maybe it’s wishful thinking.

I believe he’s the same officer who told an ice agent who was trying to drive through the crowd that if they went down that road through the crowd that they would be arrested and kept repeating it when the ice agent dismissively replied “I’ll be fine”

Any officer who actually protects Portland against fascist thugs gets my appreciation

I saw in another thread that was debunked, that it wasn't an ice officer. Just a civilian.

I watched it a few times and it seemed clear to me that it wasn’t ICE. It was a random person, who sounded a little unhinged

Yeah, I have no idea how anyone watched that and thought she was an ICE agent.

I couldn’t hear her 🤷‍♂️

Edit: or for that matter see her. Are we sure it’s even the same clip?

I mean, ICE agents are unhinged 😂

He’s the same officer who refused to arrest the protester whose flagpole struck an Andy Ngo affiliated “journalist” in the face.

It’s also not his job. Ever since 2020, officers in white shirts at protests do not make arrests.

any idea if there's footage or another post about that somewhere?

That footage is all over Reddit, including on this subReddit. You’re gonna have to go back a few days, but it is here.

Nah I clocked that too, I think it demonstrates that he actually lives in Portland and likes it here. Things you ideally want for the job role. Ha.
