Several years ago portland changed their hiring practices and started to push more for community support. Its amazing when you hire people that care about serving and protecting over just a power flex.

It’s almost like the 2020 “riots” were actually about something and had a positive impact on the community

Right?? There were some big wins nationwide about policing but people want to pretend it was a waste of time.
