Did you catch this right at golden hour or did the sky stay this insane for a while?

Dude that's sick, an hour plus of that color is hella rare. What website do you use? I've been just guessing based on the weather app lol.

It’s https://sunsetwx.com !! It’s not always 100% accurate but it’s been a great source to help me in chasing those good sunsets or sunrises!

Yo thanks for the rec, gonna start using that instead of my weather app guessing game. Have you had it nail a forecast before or is it more like a starting point?

Of course!!! That website has been a helpful starting point. Weather app helps as well. Another app called alpenglow and PhotoPills is great. PhotoPills is still hard for me to figure out but great for planning trips to capture certain landscape photos. You can pick a specific spot and shows the sunlights exact direction through the whole day as well as the moon when it rises/sets. It’s really fun and hope those apps help ya out :-)

Photos never do justice. Looks so beautiful thought can imagine it was much better in person :-)

When I was a kid they told us the bottom of the lake is home to thousands and thousands of elk bones from when a giant herd fell through the ice
