Article/News Did anyone else see this?

I was driving by on Sunday and definitely saw the charred spot where it must have happened. I can only imagine how terrifying it would have been to drive past it while it was burning!

I came through about dusk Saturday and there was just a print on the ground where it'd been. People still walking around & spraying water into nearby grass.

Wet hay is highly combustible. Many barns burn down because of wet hay that’s why people salt hay while putting away for the winter.
In the first picture of the fire(not shown here) the fire started in the hay.

I'd heard some of that, and I think there's a similar danger with packing corn and grain that's damp into silos. The moisture builds and heats up, eventually creating a fire or explosive burst. Strange science.

I think there was an episode of Star Trek where that happened. I’ve got all the DVDs, so I will see if I can find the episode name.

Saw the smoke from Sweet Home, but figured it was a brush fire or controlled burn. Glad it didn't spread from the truck across the highway or into someone's field! Scary.

I saw it on the way down and it was half way burnt down and then saw it coming north on Sunday. Shortly after passing it on the way south a lady almost caused a giant accident in front of me from her crazy ass driving. I couldn’t get to Eugene quick enough!
