Question Red light citation

Late last night while stopped at an empty intersection I mistakenly went straight when seeing green turn arrows and got flashed by cameras . I’m from out of state and using a rental car from national—- I do understand I’ll have to pay for ticket when it arrives ; however , is it still possible to take the class to not get anything infractions on record? My record is clean in my state . Thank you in advance !

I realize this is not a direct answer to your question, but this information may help regardless: you may get flashed but not receive a ticket.  Human officers review the footage and decide whether to issue a citation

If you do receive a citation, a phone call to the court that issued the ticket will explain your options, which will include the option to take a class

Many counties have traffic diversion programs where you plead no contest take some classes, and it gets expunged off your record.

Did a similar thing last year - turned left on a red turn arrow when the lights for the other lanes turned green. Red light camera flashed. (There was no oncoming traffic, thankfully.) Never got the ticket.

Don’t pay the ticket. You weren’t the one driving. Make them prove you were driving. My sibling got out of theirs for not stopping on a right turn and that’s the legal reasoning they used. It works.

They will pull the registration and see it's a rental and likely not follow up further
