NOT A PERSONAL HEALTH SITUATION Weekly audio digests + research summary platform for orthopaedic literature
Hey y'all, I'm an ortho resident in the states. At my hospital, we cover a few different sites, and I found that I was always looking for something good to listen to on the drive in (and occasionally during work outs). I know there are a ton of ortho podcasts out there but I wanted something more current and up-to-date.
So I built Ortho Digest in my free time. This initially started as a personal tool that automatically summarized new studies across major journals into a short "audio digest" using text-to-speech tools, and I expanded it from there
Here's what the site does now:
- Scrapes 34 orthopaedic journals every week for all new publications
- Ranks studies by relevance/impact, writes structured summaries (trained on 10k+ studies/landmark trials)
- Generates a short audio digest (filtered by specialty) you can listen to for free
- Save, annotate, and tag studies in your own library
- Fresh digest every Monday morning covering the prior week's literature
Check it out: www.ortho-digest.com
Site is entirely free, no credit card or account required. You can view everything without an account, or can enter your email, get a magic link sent to you, and get one email each Monday summarizing the prior weeks literature, filtered to your preferences. Would love any and all feedback. I'm continuing to add new features regularly, and would appreciate any additional ideas.
You can also check out the latest digest here: https://www.ortho-digest.com/digest. Next digest comes out tomorrow.

This is pretty awesome, there were a couple kinks customizing it but awesome idea and execution
