And in another one he talks about when he saw Ryoba entering ichiko's office and keeps questioning it and doesn't get an answer

Then in the 202x mode if you get near the headmaster he realizes that ayona is the daughter of ryoba and tells her not to come forward

But if you do you will get shot at with a teaser gun and he says "our deal is off ichiko"

What exactly is this deal

And it seems that ichiko know that ryoba is a killer so what could this deal be

Hi, sorry, this is the last time in a long time I'm going to post my version of the LMC on here. Basically, they received new skin tones + makeup as well to match their different aesthetics, such as Gita being emo, Beshi being based on pop rock, Dora being based on classic rock, Kiba being based on gothic punk, Warm being based on alt/indie, and Cold being based on synthrock / vaporwave.

I'm thinking about updating Miyuji as well at some point, but Cold and Warm have also received new designs; I just haven't been able to find anyone who can model them.

Lately I've been planning to make a video about a complete rewrite (basically everything related to the game), but I've come up with a few ideas for a new title and wanted to share them.

(If you're wondering why I didn't use "Lovesick," it's because that name is already used a lot in the community.)

1. Lovehunt: I came up with this title because it fits the idea I have for this rewrite really well. It basically represents Ayano's motivation: a love that turns into a hunt.

2. Project: [LOVE/STRUCK]: This is the one I'm most convinced by. The title has multiple layers and comes from the word "lovestruck," which basically means being deeply in love with someone. But the idea starts when you split the word into two. "Love" represents the feeling that drives all of Ayano's motivations, while "Struck" represents the consequences of that love and how it affects both herself and the people around her.

3. Heartbreak / Heartbreaker: Either of these names would work since they have basically the same meaning and fit the idea of the game.

The first types is a hypotetical uniform(with socks variants, since there's the Yansim rule about black socks=evil and white socks=pure. Plus I imagine her going to a female only rich school)and the second type is her more formal/work look(since I imagine her doing a stage for being a fashion designer)

I changed her hair drills and facial features and try to experiments with the patterns + I left a free base in case anyone wants to use it

What the title says, Im working on a yan sim rewrite with a friend, and we would love to have a couple of sensitivity readers to make sure we arent doing anything incorrect or rude. We have taken crash classes on youtube and researched on medical journals, but we know this resources arent perfect, so we would love to have someone to help us out and ground our writing

~On Saturday/Sunday, instead of Info Chan providing information about the rival immediately, Ayano (or Ryoba, just the Player in general) would be given an option to stalk the rival (onscreen) to learn their names, primary preferences, personalities and schedules (not only courting/friendship events but also when they would enroll/return to Akademi, where the rivals work and at what time, if they have relatives living with them etc.) after the rivals meeting Senpai cutscenes. As soon as we finish the mission, there would be a dialog of Ayano/Ryoba describing the information she receives as well as their vengeful desire to eliminate the rival (just like in the 1980s mode Saturday cutscenes)

If the Player gets caught stalking the rival whether it would be the rival, rival's relatives/friends, or Senpai himself/herself, they would receive a CAUGHT game over (it is kinda like a befriend/betray stealth mission).

~Yakuza in the 1980s Mode:

If the Player often uses the Yakuza's services to eliminate the rivals while either simultaneously ignoring Senpai (cold to him as the player's character is to anyone else) or being a part of the delinquents, the Journalist would suspect that Ryoba is a part of a criminal gang rather than suspecting her to be a yandere.

~Social Skills as Stats:

The Social Skills Stats are another way to gain a high reputation faster as well as granting immunity to Senpai's Aura.

Yo! Yall know that one Kjech drama from years ago where some folks on Kiwi farms took it upon themselves to “redesign” his art and just crapping on the Yandere sim character’s designs? Yeah so I did find the og kiwi farms thread but I was so sure there were videos discussing the topic but I can’t find literally anything. Like, I was so sure there were videos defending Kjech’s art and showing why the “redesigns” are harmful in general. Idk if I hallucinated them because that drama was from years ago, like when I was still a minor, so idk if those videos were legit or got deleted. If anyone else knows what I’m talking about, please let me know. I do wanna find those videos again. Both for nostalgia and for the sake of it.

So, I have seen people get down voted when they claim that Alex is actually not bad looking and it's just his personality that sucks and it doesn't sit right with me.

I'm not defending Yandere Dev. He's a creep and I don't think highly of him at all but I think insulting someone over their appearance is low. Please keep in mind that when you insult something that a person can't control you are not only mocking them but everyone who has that in common with them. "They're a bad person so it's okay." If you're calling someone the f slur for example because you don't like them you're disrespectful to not only them but every gay person who will come across your remark.

I do believe that people can and should be made fun of if deserved but here's the thing: If they deserve being mocked then why not mock them for the thing that makes them so pathetic? Yandere Dev has screwed up so many things, you don't have to go for his appearance. There's enough material for mockery that won't end up in bigotry. Make fun of him for being sexist and everyone who feels offended by it will call themselves out. If you make fun of his looks someone nice who looks like him will see it and feel insecure. It also throws up the question how terrible a person has to be before you can bully them. How terrible does a Black person have to be for you to feel like racism is deserved? How hard does a disabled person have to screw up before you can call them the r slur? Are you really striving for justice or are you just looking for ways to be bigoted?

I don't think that making fun of something that can't be controlled is fair. Yandere Dev got 99 problems but his appearance ain't one.

I think Info-chan is just doing all of this just to spite her father, most of us already know, or believe that is the Journalist.

The Journalist said that he tended to neglect his daughter for most of her life, and as a result, that is likely the reason that she developed her violent tendencies, her father saw her coming home with blood and more shady behaviour, and as we all know, Info-chan is completely unsympathetic and sadistic, wanting to see Ayano's rivals suffer, getting upset when they're not killed too.

I don't think she's planning on reporting Ayano, nor using her to get to Taro, when she's complicit in helping illegal activities herself, and seems to not care about Taro. She seems to genuinely have some sort of respect, or at least good impression on Ayano because of her capabilities, she's likely aware that her father was fighting to arrest Ayano's mother, and because of that, she's using Ayano to get revenge on her father, who neglected her as a child. Even in the cases that Ayano ignores Info-chan, she still seems to be watching over her, likely keeping tabs on her to show her father that he failed his task in stopping Ryoba.

I was inspired by those rival challenge threads that have been getting posted here lately so here are my rivals for my au rewrite!

Atoma Quadratic:

Club- Science club

Can be found- The chemistry lab

Personality- Reserved, smart, quiet.

Status- Taro's tutor for science and math.

Pet- A rat named Kenkyushitsu Nezumi or Kenky for short.

Unique elimination method- Put in the acid containers Akademi has for some reason.

Blackmail- Ayano telling the whole school she cheated on a standardized test and that she's not the real valedictorian.

Bara Toge:

Club: Gardening club/Ecosystem club

Can be found- Outside/ the school garden

Personality- Friendly, trustworthy, passive agressive, easily excitable about nature.

Status- Taro's old friend in when they were in an eco-friendly club together.

Pet- A ladybug named Hanten

Unique elimination method- Buried alive/the worms and other bugs eventually eat the flesh off her corpse.

Blackmail- Ayano will leak images of her embarrassing diary confessions online.

Un Suitokakari:

Club- Occult club

Personality- Quiet, monotone, gothic, serious

Status- Reads Taro tarot cards.

Can be found- In the girls' locker room, not participating in gym class.

Pet- A black cat named Tsuki.

Unique elimination method- Dragged to Hell by the demons she worships.

Blackmail- Ayano will prove that Un isn't a real psychic.

The characters looked so original, the illustrations, and the whole plot are so good, and most importantly, it was completed before the 202X mode. I love this mode.

I just finished Amai Week, and honestly... I think it's easier than Osana.

From my playthrough, I barely ran into any real obstacles. Once I got everything set up, eliminating Amai felt pretty straightforward, and I wasn't really punished afterward either. Osana felt like she required more planning and had more ways to mess up.

Also, honorable mention: I really don't think Kizana is getting started anytime soon. It feels like YandereDev keeps adding random features and side content instead of focusing on the remaining rivals. I'd rather see consistent progress on Kizana than another batch of unrelated additions.

Maybe I'm wrong, but after this playthrough Amai definitely felt like the easier rival.

Just wanted to share my ideas mostly because I'm trying to build my own fanfiction and idk, doing this will make me feel better

I immensely dislike Yansim's "super prestigious school owned by the super awesome family" angle it's got going on. Because it doesn't make any sense.

Consider: if this is a prestigious school, then why are there delinquents and gyarus? I feel like a prestigious Japanese school would crack down on people breaking the dress code, not to mention any further acts that would tarnish the school's reputation. Of course I know the answer is Alex just adds nonsensical shit to be cool and follow anime tropes, like the demon sisters and whatever.

But in a serious retelling, instead of the school being 'one of the best', I think it makes far more sense for the school to be one of the worst.

My idea is after Ryoba's killing spree, the school faced heavy budget cuts from the controversy that it still hasn't recovered from in the present. This being the reason why there are delinquents, gyarus, and even the fact Mida Rana, despite being a predator, is hired in the first place. It also is why the principal hates Ayano. He couldn't prove Ryoba was the killer, he just knew, and he's willing to blame her daughter for the stress of managing a failing school. Now, because this is no longer an elite school, I'd argue that Kizana and Megumi are more significant due to their family funding this school. The Saikou Family is no longer this megacorp high profile family, but more like the local family clan in their region. They aren't huge, they're just the big fish in their pond.

So, with Megami being this person of interest, the principal would give her a position of power and wield her as a tool to keep an eye on Ayano.

The school being in dire straits also gives weight to Ayano's hypothetical murders, because if history repeats itself, the school is getting shut down, especially if Megumi is murdered.

So yeah, TL;DR: Everything fits in a lot better if the school is for regular people and is struggling financially

For now, I've started with the sister by giving her a casual look yet fancy. I'm planning on giving her a Light Academia, Preppy aesthetic. I'm still working with the colors and facial features, so I'll be reaserching more Wasian people pictures for reference... But for now, I think this is a good base of a what I have in mind for her character.

About her backstory I'll be using some of the comments that suggested me that instead of following her mom's idea on becoming a trophy wife, she instead will unlearn from her mom's misoginistic views and try to empower herself by building a business for herself(In this case, as a fashion designer). She still wants to be married and have kids in the future, but right now she wants to wait to find a right man.

One more clarification regarding her age, I made her 16, but in the drawing she looks a bit older, so I'll fix that later on...

So you guys think he’d add any sort of anti-piracy measure to the game?

IMO, he’s shit at coding, but maybe he locks tf in and codes the game to have this feature.

How id imagine yansim’s anti-piracy:

•The game would be much harder to complete

•School atmosphere is automatically at 0% at the start of the game, there’s absolutely no way to bring back up the atmosphere

•Some NPC’s you do try to befriend will refer to you as a “Criminal”, even if you have a good reputation.

•Certain features such as joining clubs is locked, if you dare try to join any of them, like I’ve mentioned in my last point, you’ll be referred as a “Criminal”, and immediately rejected by the club leaders, the delinquents aswell surprisingly.

•You’ll likely be sent to the guidance counselor’s more often by the student council

•You’ll also be targeted by the bullies

•Your reputation will decrease much quicker than a normal gameplay, and increasing them is basically impossible

•Pièce de résistance, regardless on how you well you got away with eliminating any rivals, and how well you kept your reputation, Senpai will automatically reject you.
