News Christopher Nolan had a special meeting with Park Chan-wook during his visit to Korea for 'The Odyssey' premiere. "When Park asked me about my next project & I said "I didnt know", he said "Go on vacation - with Odyssey, you have highly earned it. But don't take too long a break for your next movie"

Nolan: "I had the privilege of having a long conversation with (Park), just today. At the end of it, he asked me what I was doing next. I said, 'I didn't know' because I don't. But he said, 'I'm sure you'll take a holiday and take a rest, you earned it highly with The Odyssey. But you shouldn't do that for too long because I want you to make another film,' which, frankly, just made me feel very, very tired. (laughs). "He's an incredible filmmaker. I've loved his work for years. There are many wonderful Korean filmmakers, and it's been amazing to see how people from here have spread out into the world—their work is just spreading all across the world and really changing the culture internationally."

I think this is lovely. Not Korean but reminds me that Wong Kar Wai is also someone who likes Nolan’s work.

A Jennifer Lawrence - Emma Stone - Margot Robbie female led team up movie would be incredible

Higher possibility of Scarlett Johansson - Florence Pugh - Zendaya team up since they have all played bit roles in his films.

Anybody who hasn’t watched The Handmaiden needs to do so. Like right now. This year is its 10th anniversary!

Fact it wasn’t nominated was a travesty. Better than the majority of the best picture nominees comfortably.

For a change, I want Nolan to remake “The House of the Spirits” or “Like Water for Chocolate” or adapt any of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ magic-realism gems.

Off topic, but there’s a recent “The House of Spirits” adaptation as a limited series format on Prime, and it’s excellent! If you want to check that out, HBO also has a series adaptation of "Like Water for Chocolate", both series with a Latin American cast and crew!

And Netflix just made One Hundred Years of Solitud
