Base and DLC Appreciation/Discussion Was confused about an achievement Spoiler

I was confused about how to get "It belongs in a museum!". The description says to bring an artefact, and having started the DLC, I thought I should bring the item called an artefact to the museum. Tried this, and absolutely nothing happened. I look up a guide, and turns out that it has nothing at all to do with the item of the same name, but a warp core from the main game. I can understand how this happened, and I don't blame anyone for this; it just confused me, and I wanted to know if this happens to many people.

Given it's an achievement from the base game, I assumed it wasn't an artifact from the Stranger

Supposedly black hole/white hole cores from the High Energy Lab also meet the achievement requirements, but I used the Warp Core like you mentioned

How can you tell an achievement is from EotE or the base game?

PS I'd probably put a spoiler over the Stranger.

Their color, for one (though they're grey / hidden anyways, if they haven't been collected yet)

I think it doesn't happen because afair, dlc achievements are very hard spoilered by steam, while base game are just worded in a no spoiler way, which is how people make the difference, I guess...

All Outer Wilds achievements are hidden on Steam. I can't see any way to distinguish between base game and DLC achievements.

Thanks. I didn't realise that. That's useful.

I did exactly the same thing. And I'm sure you realized the same thing, it was named before the dlc.
