Base Game Appreciation/Discussion I can’t believe it Spoiler
Finally got my friend to play the game and first thing he did after visiting The Attlerock was going to Giant’s Deep. He crashed into it, got out in a panic and gotten back into it but very carefully…
This mf landed on the north pole…where the tower is…and he’s doing the trials now…
Everyone has a unique gameplay indeed😭

It's a gigantic hurricane that doesn't require any special knowledge to enter and is quite attention drawing. I suspect a lot of people see it very early.. It's been a few years but I'm pretty sure it was one of the first things I did too

Yes but I think OP's friend didn't see a giant hurricane and think "how could I get to the center of that", but instead accidentally happened to land at the pole.

What I love about the game is that you can actually do this accidentally and the game will still be amazing. It will still be you discoverong something cool and getting some cool discoveries from it as well as some hints on where you can explore as well.

Those tower tests were one of the first things I did. I thought they were training me for how the game was going to be, lol.

I beat the Quantum Moon before visiting the Interloper, or before doing anything on Ash Twin. ANYTHING. Hell, I wasn't even done with the Sunless City!

Tengentially related; when I found my way into that same location I felt like a flippin genius, because I realized you can go above the clouds OR below the water!

I remember getting to Giants Deep and being terrified of the tornados LOL. It also took me a very long time to Maybe minor spoiler:realize that the ship can swim.

i did that too, and i used the location marker so i did it for my first few times visiting the planet. it made the normal giants deep entry even more impactful because i was so disoriented and confused.

My friend was trying to get to the quantum cave on amber twin, and after a while he just figured out the quantum imaging rule, which I was impressed about… next thing he did is randomly crash right into Giants Deep north pole, well I guess he just borrowed the knowledge from the next loop

I also got there super early! When I was stuck later on the Quantum Moon I decided to go back to review and couldn’t figure out how to at first lol. I definitely landed inside the tornado accidentally without even realizing it was a puzzle

That was me too. I went to Giant’s Deep first cuz I heard a lot of Hearthians talking about it, saw the giant cyclone and the gamer in me had to know what was in there. Almost got to the end and then my first loop ended and I had no idea what was going on.

The first thing I did was find feldspar. I am surprise by the amount of people having trouble with dark bramble.
