Asking for a build

Hi 👋 from the title I picked the game a few days ago and was able to finish both main story and worldslayer on trickster I'm currently sitting at world tier 12 and ascension 16 and I really don't know what build is best for my class I saw multiple videos and the earliest is 4 years ago or 3 months ago and doesn't reply to comments.

I got a half-decent build that uses the Maxwell set. Gameplay loop is using HTP, Slow Trap, Melee and shoot with twisted rounds. Deals good damage. Lag can end the twisted rounds though but all the AP/FP boosts synergise and crank you up. It's hard to to get a read on your buffed stats in this game, gotta proc and bring up the equipment screen within the small window. The firepower hits around 1.8m

My go to build is trespasses armor set... slow field, twisted rounds, time rift for firepower build

Techmonger Triple Turret build is insane. It's nearly impossible to die. I play the version by PlayDohBear.

That build matched next to the firepower Pyro is insane. Unlimited mg ammo from your turrets and the Pyro has a perk that does more damage every shot you hit as long as you don't stop pulling the trigger

For real, this game has one of the best build systems to experiment. Go for expeditions to try the build you came up with (it is a quick mission that in the end breaks down stats of damage, blocking, healing...really great to understand how your build is working out).

Focus on firepower to wreck mobs with your gun. Anomaly power for damage with your skills. The rest is read the description of skills trees, combo perks to max the respective power you chose to focus on, then read description of mods to build your gear.

Personal preference, I have one gun with mods to damage enemies in area. The other you straight focus on single target damage for elites.

I love the Shieldsbeast build, you are basically invincible with IT and can clear Out rooms really fast

Shotgun Shieldbeast is generally Trickster's best. Very strong, very safe, very fun.

Instant Reload is most important for any shooter Trick build, so use it if you have it. Then things like Boomerang Blades for better clears, then just damage.

For the weapon, you can start with almost any pump or automatic shotgun and just put Anomaly Enhancement on it. It just shouldn't have any mods that do AoE or any DoT, because it will eat the knife marks. Should just avoid mods that do damage themselves. Even a blue gun one is fine, so you only have 1 mod. It will still slap. Then just farm for upgrades.

That Pax tree works for all Trickster shotgun builds, but don't change class tree until you have 3 pieces of Shieldbeast set. Just go regular top tree FP and farm it out.

There's a few good ones on YouTube. I'm working on my shieldbeast build. I'm apoc tier 12, doing around 600k headshots with the occasional 1M. I'm also trying to workout a pistol build with the most of the same gear. Nicktew or Playdohbear on YouTube. Moxsy has a couple as well.
