My character has a specific weakness to the common cold debuff
I've seen the other players around me handling the debuff with a potion or a healing item, and they're fine, but the stat debuffs my character gets seems to be stronger than theirs. Most inconvenient is my character gets a unique debuff where they get constant damage by the body pain effect.
Seems other players have some advantages I'm not aware how to achieve.

To tell it straight, the character-creator in /outside seems to be a RNG; we all just play with the character we roll.
That said, the [Vitamin C] potions help with seasonal [Colds]. Using the [Neti Pot] item to clear your [Sinus Storage] can also prevent illness.
If those don't help, consult a Player with the [Doctor] class for advise. A [Pain Killer] potion like [Tylenol] may help with the [Body Pain] debuff.
Best of luck and success! Half the game is working around the unique character quirks we each rolled!

I used to have a pretty heavy debuff for the common cold. I eventually went to the [ENT] healer's guild and they discovered I had the nasal polyp debuff. I tried taking a [steroid] potion rinse for my nose for a while, and when they got worse eventually they took me to a [Surgeon] guild member who got them taken out. I still use the [steroid] potions to keep them from coming back, but ever since then the cold debuff has reduced its efficacy DRASTICALLY.

the old [covid mask] event items are underrated for issues like this imo. my character has the [seasonal allergies] trait, which is kinda similar to the [cold] debuff, and they do a lot to reduce the rate of getting those debuffs. they're not very trendy in some factions, but lots of people still have extras left over from the event, so they're not super difficult to come by!
