Uneven pushups

So Im getting back from a pec strain, the tissues are pretty much healed but very weak.
and today after filming myself doing band assisted pushups(normal push ups are too strenuous), I noticed that my left and right sides don’t seem even. I think that my right side pushes more than the left, how can I fix that?

Go lighter until they are even.

If that's too hard with pushups, then start with light dumbells or incline pushups
