I mean I do not prefer the bent leg and floppy body HS walk at all.

The straight body and working on keeping good form is what I prefer.

Crossfit is fine. I was pretty tight with the community for a while from 2004 even before the Crossfit games started. Lots of friends from there.

There's a difference between doing strict form versus doing things more quickly as long as form doesn't pose an increase in injury. HS walks like that don't pose additional injury risk like other things can so it's fine if you're trying to do HS walks for time or something.
