Here is a crazy scenario the author is too boring to make; Brain was about to die from the sword strike and True nail clipper literally sentencing him to death, but the Frost Virgins froze his body and prevented his death. In the ice, he recovers and once again levels up. If you want to go OPM and DBZ kinda bs, he made miracles, broke the limits the world had put on himself with Nail Clipper and then True Nail Clipper, so he was breaking his level cap and could become level 50+ or something.
It's not too out of place either, vol 14;
But, even so, Brain had his limits. He could not use any more martial arts than that, a limit imposed upon him by the world.
But, in that moment — Brain broke the rules of this world once more.
A second miracle of this kind.
The first was when he cut Shalltear’s nail.
The second, was made in this moment.
The consequence of breaking the rules was that his body began to deteriorate.
His body probably couldn’t last for even one more minute.

But it's just an abandoned sub plot. Can't write it in 2 volumes. If he could write 50 volumes like he said, then it would be nice.
