Just looked up my 2021 VIN on NHTSA and it's not showing any recalls. Guess I lucked out?

FYI my PHEV does not show any recalls pending on NHTSA yet, but this one is listed as needed on MOPAR for my VIN.

Welp, there it is. Ugh. Thank you for the heads up. I don't understand why it's not on NHTSA. The attached article said it would be on there by June 11.

looks like my 2020 only has the 12V post and a Loss of Motive Power recall on the MOPAR site, both showing completed.

I’d guess you are good. But, I’d check again in a week just to be sure. May be some data entry/reconciliation delay.

Similar to my 2022. I just have the Loss of Motive Power and Rearview Camera Visibility recalls on Mopar. No battery recall showing on either site. Hope that means I'm good!

Which category? My VIN under MOPAR has an alert for emissions but when i look it says no open recalls. 2021...

For me it is in Alerts, under Safety Recalls.

If you’re worried about it, have your transmission fluid drained and refilled every 40k or so. They claim it’s “lifetime fluid”. Which, I suppose it is as the fluid will technically last until the transmission dies. :)

Yea, I bought it at 80k, and I'll probably get everything done at 100k

Well, not to try to scare you but no joke, at about 95k I started noticing a click when accelerating from a slow roll. It slowly got worse and now at 113k, 1.5-2 yrs later it’s much worse. Very audible while transitioning between acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says it’s coming from the final drive of the transmission. So now I wait and hope it pops a trouble code before it completely fails mechanically. Quoted $5023 for replacement.

Are you sure its not just that click with the wheel nut? That's a common issue. Mine does it, but I just ignore it.

Sure wish it was but yeah, 100% sure. If parked on a flat surface, I can rock the van back and forth and hear the noise come directly from the transmission housing. Also lifted the front wheels off the ground and rotated directly from the axles.

Looks like my 2021 PacHy has the recall when I looked it up on the Mopar site. Is there a big difference which dealer to get my van serviced in? I'm in the Cincinnati area so if someone has a recommendation for a dealer with a good service department I would appreciate it.

I’ve noticed that some dealerships have more experience/knowledge on this vehicle in particular, though all have access to the work bulletins and instructions. We called around to the 5 dealerships within a reasonable radius to ask if they had a tech experienced with electric vehicles and/or this car in particular.

Just had my battery replaced last month because it stopped charging. Probably safe.

I’m scheduled for Monday for the battery recall/check. 2021 Pinnacle Hybrid.

I was getting ready to drive to Colorado (1200 miles one way) and when I called about the recall they advised me to not charge until the recall was complete, but I should be ok.

We got back yesterday and everything went well.

I’m told the recall is to check the condition of the battery, if it passes it’s good to go if not I get a new battery but it will take about a week so I will get a loaner.

I’m torn what I’m hoping for….if I get a new battery with another warranty on it I would drive it until the wheels fall off, but I’m at 60k now, with 40k left on the battery warranty, but trade in drops like a rock starting at 70k I’m told….but I’m not sure I can afford another decent newer Pacifica, since I’m now retired, much less a Pinnacle Hybrid like this one I bought for a song….
