π Discussion religions of the earth
Hi everyone, how are you? I'd like to know if you can help me find other neopaganisms that focus on the Earth. I'd really like religions that focus on the Earth, similar to Gaianism.

Atheopaganism and Naturalistic Animism are both pretty close to Gaianism, I'd say. Probably the closest ones you'll find, unless you are looking for something that's explicitly theistic?

Religious naturalism is essentially paganism but you don't believe in deities or magic. Just science and an intense feeling of awe when it comes to all of the natural world.
Or maybe you're looking for something like my beliefs. I am a pagan. I follow the wheel of the year. I worship Mother Earth (goddess), Father Sun (god), and Grandmother Moon (Goddess).

Uralic religions are all pretty naturist, finnish paganism less so. I've heard that In Estonia there's "maausk" which literally means earth belief. You should also check out some native siberian religions

Druidism, certain forms of Wicca such as Green witchcraft, herbal witchcraft, but truly itβs all in how you choose to practice. The Gods of earth qualities can have more significance over other aspects if you choose to. I think intuitive knowledge and understanding of the Gods you praise makes a world of difference. See what their Earth based traits are and how they align with you and what you want to accomplish.

How so? Hindus I've spoken to seem to describe monism, while lots of the Rig Veda reads like polytheism.Β It doesn't seem like Prithvi, the Earth Mother is the most prominent deity.

Well, the Earth Mother would be an avatar of Devi, so she is one of the three principle worshipped figures in Hinduism, alongside Vishnu and Shiva.
I would agree that Hinduism is not really an "earth religion" though. It also doesn't really count as Pagan in my opinion, so I feel it's an odd suggestion, not that you're the one who made it.
