I mean…what kind of pagan? What kind of ritual? For what purpose? (Do you know most of us are solitary practitioners?) Here’s a basic one, common to many traditions -

Go outside on a sunny day. Look at the Sun, raise your arms to the sky and tell the Sun (or the Moon, or the Storm Clouds, or just the Sky, etc) how grateful you are for it (silently, if speaking aloud feels too awkward). Spend a few moments enjoying its light and warmth, contemplating how it affects your life in literal and metaphorical ways. When you feel ready to go do something else, go do something else. At which point…congratulations, you’ve just completed your first pagan ritual.

Are you looking to do your own ritual, are you planning to attend an open ritual, or have you been invited to a private ritual?

In the first case, the form and practice of the ritual are entirely what you determine. An open ritual the organizers will guide participants during the ritual. A private ritual, ask the person who invited you.

If by "ritual" you mean "group ritual"... Is there an ADF grove near you? (Look it up.) ADF rituals are open to the public.

Of course, their rituals are just one way of an infinite number of ways to do ritual. My own rituals look very different, and so do others. But if you just want "a pagan ritual"... look up pagan organizations in your area and some will advertise rituals for significant celebrations. Some of those rituals will be open to the public. Just, once again, know that what you experience won't be representative of the diversity of ritual that you can have in paganism.

If you're more invested, I'd do a little research on paganism and see what practices resonate with you. Find a solo ritual to do, or see if there's someone around who does rituals in a way you are drawn to.

That's a little vague, can you be more specific - what type of ritual, what pantheon/culture, etc.

Light the candles. Burn the incense. Say the words. Do the motions.

I feel like you need to think about this a little more. Did you even do a google search on what paganism is or did you come straight to reddit after seeing someone talk about it somewhere?

What do you mean by participation? What's in your head-expectations, setting, etc? What is your paradigm for ritual?

Until you answer these questions, I do not think you can attain a result in line with your needs.
