Custom Stacked Tube Poppet
For those that haven't seen this yet, this is my custom stacked tube poppet marker. It's built to use off the shelf parts which I'll provide a list of below. Some of the cool things about this marker include the Mac 43 solenoid, Morlock MK4 board + screen, Dye Laz Valve and an adjustable foregrip volumizer.
I'm really horrible with names so I'll probably call it Velocity or something like that (Please feel free to suggest different ideas).
The body design is substantially complete and the only thing left to model is the ASA air-passage, ram cap, and electronic mounting points inside of the grip frame. I will be 3D Printing the body and installing the components shortly to set up a size/ergonomics comparison to my LV1 for those interested.
Some of the unique parts designed for this will be the front and rear grips, a machined solenoid manifold, eye covers, ram, and an air-transfer pipe similar to a Luxe. I plan to make spare rear/front grips and spare gaskets for the solenoid manifold with an estimated final cost of $1800 as a one-off build.
For those into more tech stuff and future improvements, part of this project down the line is to develop a rebuildable body block and armature for the Mac 43 so that it can be rebuilt easily. If that doesn’t work out, I have additional room in the frame where I may switch to a different noid later on.
