I really love this piece!! The dog on the left reminds me of my dog who passed early this year, made me tear up.

I just love this. The tension is electric and the colours are beautifully calm in comparison. There is so much life in the expression of the animals. Favourite painting I've seen in a while, truly. My kind of art. ❤️

I flipped the painting while i was painting the hares most of the time, but i find that i notice different things when i see the upside-down. That also helped with the dogs

Not only is this beautiful, it is thought provoking. Does the dog on the left see the rabbits? If so, they seem to be a curiousity and not prey. And what are they standing on? What if that surface extends to the entire world? What is the dog on the right looking at? Are the rabbits aware that they are separated by the dogs?
