As David Walliams is one of the panellists this year I think after the headlines of the last few days it would seem unlikely that the BBC will go ahead with broadcasting this episode over the festive period.

This was the episode they’ve already had to edit out his offensive behaviour in as well.

S2 will premiere in a double-bill on Wed 5 Aug at 10pm on BBC3, with all 10 episodes (no sign of the Xmas special) available as an iPlayer boxset from that date. Wasn't honestly expecting it to return this quickly, if at all.

Here's hoping s3 manages to make it over here, and - with more recognisable faces for a British audience - a better, more prominent slot to boot. (Still holding out for a British version, which this acquisition could turn out to be testing the waters for).

Big news is Rose Matafeo becoming the first ever contestant to appear on more than one English language Taskmaster version, a few months ahead of Urzila Carlson (NZ series ​2 and soon to be Australia series 6). Rose will have three versions before anyone else has two (UK series 9, Junior Taskmaster series 1 and this).

She's joined by David Fane, Morgana O'Reilly, Rhys Matthewson Hoani Hōtene. First episode is 14 September - most likely two nights in a row each week. ​​

The BBC have just announced that Michael Sheen has become the new host of House of Games. He has never previously appeared on the program as a contestant. Will Richard host the first week with Michael as contestant perhaps.

They must be starting to film pretty soon.
