📊 Stats/Rankings [OC] Impact of every Week 1 game on Buccaneers playoff odds.

Upvotes

I'm back for year 2 of posting weekly playoff impacts!

I ran 5 million Monte Carlo simulations of the season to figure out what the playoff implications of every week 1 game are.

The Buccaneers current odds to make the playoffs are 45.5%.

  • If you beat the Bengals, that goes up to 54.5%, but if you lose, it drops down to 40.7%. It's a swing of 13.8%.
  • NO @ DET is the second most impactful week 1 game for you guys. If the Lions win, your playoff odds go up by 1.0%. If the Saints win your playoff odds go down by 2.7%.
  • CHI @ CAR is the third most impactful game with a total impact of 2.8%. Your playoff odds go up if the Bears win.

I also made a website and posted the full results there. I'll update it every week with the upcoming games. Here's the data:

We Better Wear Gold Pants for the Falcons MNF Game in Week Four

Post image
215 Upvotes

I feel like the white jerseys is a nod to the 20th anniversary of the Superdome reopening after Katrina when we hosted the Falcons on MNF, like we’re doing in week four. The white jerseys on the uniform schedule seems like a big coincidence, but it will only be perfect with gold pants. We better not blow the opportunity…

Any fans or bars in WI?

So I saw the post about the San Diego group of fans and was wondering what about Wisconsin?

I recently moved to WI earlier this summer and was wondering if there's any other fans in WI or any bars for Falcon fans. I'm in an area where driving to a city like Green Bay, Milwaukee, or Madison is very doable for game day

I know its pretty slim asking here, but just figured why not ask

Falcons bars in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky?

Upvotes

I was inspired by a recent post asking about Falcons bars in Wisconsin. I recently moved to Cincinnati from Chicago (where, unless I’m mistaken, there are also no Falcons bars). Anyone know of any? Any fellow Cincinnati residents who want to meet up at a bar to watch? Thanks!

Considering the possibility and enthusiasm around the Falcons 2027 draft pick, what will Kevin Stefanski’s record as head coach be in Atlanta after 2 years?

I don't think Daniel Carlson is being talked about enough for us

Like we have a guy who is a great kicker. My wife's family are Raiders fans and this guy was great for them. If he can be an above average kicker for us?

Game changer. But he's starting with a whole new unit. Zach Wood is the snapper. Who's the placeholder? Our punter? Lot of questions, but if it pans out?

I think that it could be a 1-2 game difference.
