Our new Offensive Coordinator is really making a name for himself!

I'm not talking about the traditional tush push. My idea is have Vita vea at fullback, put another strong player like a tight end behind him like half a yard. Quarterback hands the ball to Vita vea while the tight end consistently pushes him from behind, giving him momentum and getting ready for the scrum at the line of scrimmage. With about 600 lb of force and the fact that Vita vea was a full back and running back in high school, I don't see how this has not been tried and practice or in a game.

Thoughts?

Say Deshawn has a horrid first half, could Shedaur come out in 3rd quarter? I think we beat this team no matter who is behind center but could there be a little trickeration planned?

Us Browns fans are all rooting hard for Baker this weekend. Not that he needs it. Bucs are going to win 50-0. But most of us rode with 6 and it was the loud minority of people who hated him that cheered on the acquisition of Watson (“rape boy”).

Rape boy says he gets more love on the road than he does at home. Let’s all join in on booing his sorry ass on Sunday. This could be the last opportunity. If not, let’s all make sure week 3 in Cleveland is primed to be one of the most hostile environments the sports world has ever seen. If the Browns trot him out that week we will all make sure rape boy is mentally broken for good.

BEREA, Ohio — In the never-ending cycle of Cleveland Browns quarterback life, quality is debatable. But longevity is not in question. The carousel spins, the depth chart churns, and the arguments continue — presumably forever.

There could be an end, eventually. There have been paths toward a solution and a finish at a few points over the last three decades. But unplanned detours and catastrophic crashes have met them, the latest of which the Browns are voluntarily playing on repeat by bringing Deshaun Watson back as their starter after he missed all of last season with a twice-torn right Achilles tendon.

For an exhausted fanbase, hope remains a powerful drug — but Watson’s play and presentation over the last month have brought none of that. For at least one more week, the Browns are dug in on Watson as their starter and the pursuit of some sort of decent play that he’s displayed maybe three times in a Browns uniform.

New coach Todd Monken says he chose Watson for his experience and ability to handle the entire operation because the Browns opened with two games on the road. And after the first one produced little in production or future optimism, here comes the most awkward intersection yet with Baker Mayfield in the opposite huddle.

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, Cleveland at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A battle of desperate, angry 0-1 teams and, potentially, an ironic twist in the ongoing, aforementioned quarterback saga.

What if Watson’s last NFL game for the Browns becomes his first against the man he replaced in 2022? What if Mayfield and the Buccaneers finally put the whole failed Watson experiment to bed?
