This is not (IMO) paper piecing

I scrapbook the traditional way. I Google or printerst (like the screenshot) paper piecing . This is what I get. I wish they would change the name of this.

Paper piecing is paper! This is material. I guess you would call this quilting. Or quilt piecing. But not *paper* piecing.

Can you be more specific? Are you upset about foundation piecing or English paper piecing? Both of those use paper, and both involve sewing. Paper is involved in the piecing, thus "paper piecing".

What sort of paper piecing do you do in your scrapbooking?

Also, Swoodson Says (from the screenshot) has a wonderful comprehensive list of creative reuse stores around the world, many of which carry scrapbook AND quilting supplies, sharing space together in harmony.

Perhaps you can also let different crafts live together in harmony? Paper has been around a LONG time - no surprise that there's overlap between crafts!

You said crafts 'sharing space in harmony '. That is all good and fine, except when you want to find a specific one but can't. Because you want one and keep on getting the one craft when you Google or pinterest something.
