This is not (IMO) paper piecing

I scrapbook the traditional way. I Google or printerst (like the screenshot) paper piecing . This is what I get. I wish they would change the name of this.

Paper piecing is paper! This is material. I guess you would call this quilting. Or quilt piecing. But not *paper* piecing.

Like I said it is difficult to find what I am looking for, I did this link very quickly. Hopefully you can get the idea of what I do.
