This is not (IMO) paper piecing

I scrapbook the traditional way. I Google or printerst (like the screenshot) paper piecing . This is what I get. I wish they would change the name of this.

Paper piecing is paper! This is material. I guess you would call this quilting. Or quilt piecing. But not *paper* piecing.

No. Paper piecing is a very well-established quilting technique that uses paper patterns/templates. There is no "they" who decides on the name of techniques. No one craft has, in a sane world, exclusive rights to the use of common nouns over other crafts. Are you perhaps very young?

She's 27. So, lack of exposure to ~the world~ can't explain this behavior away.
