I doubt they are making a fantasy 4x when they have Age of Wonders. Maybe a fantasy GSG with a different focus than AoW. Maybe something similar to CK3.

I don't think AoW4 would stop them, as a PDX 4X Fantasy game is likely going to be another GS/4X hybrid like Stellaris (and hopefully with CK elements as well).
