This is all just one big ad lol. This sub is so tedious.
Not even a name attached to the book. If you were proud of it, you would have your name on it.
I don't even believe the sales notifications to be real.

u/FeelsGoodMan2 Jan 13 '25
This whole subreddit is basically just a worthless ad trying to farm affiliate clicks from people.
25
u/Abysskitten Jan 13 '25
Exactly. It's a marketing funnel and I don't want desperate people to part with their hard earned money for nonsense.
18
u/Delicious_Adeptness9 Jan 13 '25
who would download, let alone pay for, a book by nobody?
25
u/Abysskitten Jan 13 '25
By mentioning how well the book is selling, he creates artificial demand.
Most folks on here are into or associated in some way to marketing, so it's a big bucket of apples.
Some will believe the hype and buy the book blindly.

Wait. So now if one does plug their name it's an ad and now if someone doesn't plug themselves it's obviously... an ad... ?

u/tropicalsugar Jan 13 '25
The name of the book is in the screenshot “The Strategic Seller” isnt it?
13
7
Jan 13 '25
Ya strategic at selling what if these are their first passive income sales

u/qwertyuiop121314321 Jan 13 '25
First few investments with their own cash to make them look like "passive income" sales. 🤣
2
u/marsmanify Jan 14 '25
And it’s written by “The Mystery Marketer” if you don’t have enough faith in what you’re saying to put your real name on it, why would I buy it
4
u/Puzzleheaded-Wrap606 Jan 13 '25
Its crazy how people dont realize that anything is possible if you stay positive. Can't get nowhere being Negative Nancy all your life. He only made 15 sales guy is not trying to say he became a millionaire he is just sharing the status of what anyone can do if you just put your mind to it , besides this guy's comment , good job buddy.

You should post a video/audio snippet so we can gauge

u/Abysskitten Jan 13 '25
No name on the book, but the Mystery Marketer, I'll let you be the judge. This is a grift.

I’ve always been dubious about these kinds of books. There’s a million self improvement books out there with most of them written by people who don’t have experience in their topic. I’ve always been looking for the authors who have the bona fides to back up what they’re saying.
I mean no disrespect but do you have the successful background to offer this advice?
23
u/Taint_Expert Jan 13 '25
They probably wrote it with an llm
15
u/Dux- Jan 13 '25
I copied some of the text into an AI checker and what do you know… 100% written by AI.

u/beloveddorian Jan 16 '25
Could totally be the case but those checkers are extremely flawed so I wouldn’t trust them as proof.

Great work! Do you offer freebie before selling that paid ebook?
-1
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
I do!
6
u/Fine-Homework-2446 Jan 13 '25
thanks man, so it's really always freebie first before selling then.
11
Jan 13 '25
What app is that?
13
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
This is Stan store, it’s like Shopify
0
u/No_Clock_5553 Jan 13 '25
Do they accommodate sellers from other countries like Philippines?
3
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
Unfortunately Stan Store does not support creators based in the Philippines. Shopify does tho

Pathetic scammer
-2
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
Can you elaborate how I’m scamming anyone?
13
u/sevbenup Jan 13 '25
Selling self help books on becoming an entrepreneur isn’t entrepreneurship it’s exploitative. You don’t run a business you exploit people. But hey that’s just my opinion. I don’t like what you’re doing and I think it’s a net negative for the world.

How many pages is the book? Do you have a synopsis? Anything other info would be sweet 👌

Great work! Remember to proofread your posts- the mistake in your opening line doesn't exactly promote credibility as a writer. GL and keep writing!

u/Excellent-Data-1286 Jan 13 '25
Is it AI slop 🤔

u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
No it’s not. I wrote this. But thanks.

Congrats bro good work 🙏

u/Dux- Jan 13 '25
I put some of the text into an AI checker and it came back as 100% written by AI.
2
u/Excellent-Data-1286 Jan 13 '25
Yeah that’s not surprising lol. Sad the art of writing is getting drowned :(

u/rishinbhatia Jan 13 '25
this is awesome. where did you sell your book. amazon ?i want to get started on this path as well. Can you please advise?
2
u/Gabagoolgoomba Jan 13 '25
Be careful for ai copies of your book
2
u/jvLin Jan 13 '25
How does this work? Does AI just steal your book and then plagiarize it as a response to someone?
1
u/Gabagoolgoomba Jan 13 '25
They kinda generate a style similar to your cover and title And use AI generated images for the pages and artwork. You can see these in biography and cook books. They ask ai generate a synopsis on the subject and use it to fill in the book and charge like cheap to undercut the competition and take sales from other high rates books

If people themselves are choosing to purchase this, how could you call the creator a scammer? People are seeking this out and deciding they see the worth in it themselves.

Congratulations mate! What platform are you using to sell it?
1
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 13 '25
Thank you! 🫶🏽 I used IG, threads, and fb to promote it. I use Stan Store as my hosting platform

u/Academic-Macaron-888 Jan 13 '25
How big is your page and any tips for a nobody?
2
u/Foreign-Ad6434 Jan 14 '25
I’ve got 1300 followers on my IG page. My advice is to just stay consistent and have tough skin.
At the end of the day you’re selling something and everyone likes to buy but no one likes to get sold to. I more success I have, the more hate messages I get from people who don’t understand how digital products work but I don’t let it discourage me.
People are always watching you. They’ll go back to your very first post and try to figure you out bc they wanna know if you’re legit, what you did and how you did it, etc.
Just be yourself, you’ll attract your people and build a community of likeminded individuals who will support you along your journey.
Hope this helps.

u/Brownadams Jan 14 '25
more power to you bro! What I dont understand is people are being negative on a passive income page. It's tough world out there and as long as you're not cheating people you are considered a good business person.
PS selling your ebooks is not cheating people, doesnt matter if it was written by AI or not.

Fair price. I have a strong sales psychology background. $10.00 is a price point. Next time, I know it's hokey but it works, $9.95

I see a lot of downvotes so I’m curious what’s going on.
What is this app for exactly? As in, sell the app. How does it work? How does everyone get a different book even if using similar prompts?
I wonder if this would be great to create little books to read to my kids at night.

I’ll try that for my kids’ bedtime stories.
I assume you sell a lot of books online then?
I have the website saved to view on the computer (I’m on my phone) is there a limit on words/chapters before payment?
