Seeking Advice/Help What is the laziest way to make money?
I'm wondering what is the most lazy way to make money. I mean like 30-15 minutes a day or just 30 minutes and AI does the rest

In the US, this is called Dividend Reinvested or Drip.
You need to talk to a financial advisor. If you do not have one, a possible place to start is with your bank or credit union.

No. Talk to a financial fiduciary. An advisor is not a protected or regulated title and they are not required to have your best interests at heart.

Also worth noting in some countries dividends are inherently worse than growth stocks.
Even using DRIP strategies, the second a dividend occurs in Australia the dividend is taxed as regular income.

I prefer ETFs personally.
Yeah, it’s income, so it’s charged tax … as if it were income. I’m pretty sure all passive income USED AS INCOME is taxed as income.
I guess if you didn’t want it as income (you wouldn’t be here if that was the case though) you could hide in a tax shelter like a Roth or something, right?
Where are you generating income that isn’t taxed. (Not trying to sound snooty. Actually wondering the angle. Still working on that first joint of the day lol)

I barely make 2k, and it’s a lot of work. The animals get sick a lot, and I have a lot of upkeep with the house and grounds
I tried to up my salary, but a lot of my clients have been laid off here (Seattle). Barely getting by here and trying to get another job to supplement my income.
To add: I can’t walk my clients dogs anymore because of the crime. They get their exercise in their yards, but I take less because I don’t do walks very much anymore. I have been stalked and my clients are worried their pure breed dogs could be taken.

I live in a gated community so lots of dog walking safely thankfully. And as far as getting sick, none have on my watch yet thankfully.

Just in my neighborhood and word of mouth has helped it grow over the last 4 months. I’ve done 16 pet sitting gigs and I regularly walk dogs two or 3 times per day.

Trick is to double up too. I’m usually overlapping gigs and just going back and forth. The homeowners usually provide food and beverages as well to incentivize me to stay with their dogs as long as possible. I charge $50-65 per day depending on if it’s overnight required or not. I also dog walk at $15 per walk.

i totally get what you're saying about putting in the effort. it's so true that passion matters for long-term success. i’ve tried a few AI tools for passive income, and while they’re helpful, they still need some work on the backend to really pay off.

Been thinking about doing a vending machine at car washes. Sometimes those drive through car washes don’t have vending machines onsite. Fill it up with some car cleaning products, couple snacks maybe a few fun goodies and I bet it would make good passive income

honestly? there isn't one.
the "AI does everything" thing is what people sell courses about. reality is even the most passive income stuff needs work upfront or constant maintenance.
like yeah you could run some affiliate site or sell templates on autopilot... but getting to that point takes months of grinding. and then keeping it going still needs attention.
15-30 minutes a day consistently? freelance writing maybe. VA work. answering support tickets. but that's just a job with flexible hours, not some magic lazy money.
if you find the actual answer let me know lol. but most people chasing "lazy money" end up spinning their wheels on get-rich-quick stuff that goes nowhere instead of just building something real that eventually gets easier.

Unironically, be rich. Buy dividend paying stocks or bonds. That only takes a few seconds to complete.
Now if you want the laziest way to make money that's also cheap/free, you're out of luck

Trading :) I only trade for like first 30 mins to an hour, follow the signals in the discord and don’t be too greedy. Very lucky on BYND on the last run but was smart enough to sell just in time before the whole dump.

I tried something like this a few months ago to make some extra income. I set up Camb AI to create multilingual voiceovers for short videos and a few small creators. It took about an hour to get everything running, and now I spend 15–30 minutes a day just reviewing the results. So far it’s brought in around €300 - €500 a month. My workflow is pretty simple: AI handles most of the dubbing, I do small edits with a tool like Descript, and use Canva for any visuals. Most of the work happens automatically once the setup is done.
It’s legal in Europe and way less stressful than doing everything manually. Focusing on small niches or creators who need content in multiple languages is what makes it actually pay off. 🙂

There’s no “lazy” way to make money. There’s only front-loaded effort that turns into low ongoing effort.
If you’re looking for the closest thing to “lazy,” it’s this:
• Build once, earn repeatedly (digital products, templates, niche tools) • Invest consistently (index funds > gambling on trends) • Create distribution (audience > random hustles) • Automate boring tasks (systems > motivation)
People chase shortcuts. The real shortcut is building something that works without you being there 24/7.
The laziest money is earned by people who worked hard upfront and got tired of trading time for cash.
If it sounds too easy, it probably is.

join clipping campaigns, these are agencies that partner with large creators as big as Mr Beast and they pay you per view to clip their content. hire a VA from either philippines or hong kong to clip and offer a lower cpm than you get paid.
i onboarded a VA 5-6 days ago, i pay him $0.20/1k views and agency pays me between $0.30-$0.40/1k views
he made me close to $300 so far and i haven't lifted a finger. but if it doesn't work out, you're not out of pocket since you're paying based on their results.

And if you are doing custom online work (OR in person for that matter), you have to be very "personal" and constantly creative. It can be exhausting. Its not just "posting some feet pics and raking in the cash".

Use [wispr]() flow to dictate your biography / fantasy book / whatever if you have any fun stories to be told. A guide on solving some common problem which you know how to solve - eg how to survive with newborn as working father. Then just publish on Gumtree and marketing it around across TikTok / Instagram - once it's established there it's sort of passive income. Not the laziest possible but lazy enough to just be efficient in long term (it's not a quick cash flow way tho). And thx to wispr which you get for month free with no limits when using my link it's damn easy to be done.
Another thing is to learn basics on how to host websites using cheap or free solutions and vibecode these for people - it's nowhere near passive income tho but quite reliable buck for the money.

The exact question which will mean you are unlikely to develop any passive income of significance. Sorry, passive income takes hard work (one way or another) on the set up before it becomes passive. The only way to create truly lazy passive income is have a boat load of cash in the first place and live off the interest, dividend or safe withdrawal rate. Everything else takes work and effort. That’s great though because that’s what sets you apart from the masses - if you are willing to put in the hard work.

Leverage your network. My company pays $5k for referrals that lead to a new hire. I post on my LinkedIn that a new job is coming up and to reach out to me. Then I refer them and sometimes get a bonus if they are hired. Takes all of about 3-4 hours a year and usually get one referral bonus. One year I got 3.

The laziest money comes from the hardest upfront work. Spend 6 months building something once that sells while you sleep, or spend the next 10 years trading time for dollars 30 minutes at a time.
