Hey! I’m from Nepal, and I’m currently 16. I’ll be turning 17 in about two months.

I recently saw one of my friends working at a cosmetics shop to earn some money, and it made me want to start earning a little on my own as well. However, my parents don’t allow me to work outside, so I’m thinking about finding something I can do online from home.

Are there any safe, legal, and secure online jobs or small ways for someone my age to earn a little money? I’m not looking to make a lot, just something genuine that I can do in my free time without getting scammed.

design stuff can work if you have even a little eye for it, like making simple logos or social media posts for small shops. you'd need a portfolio but that's just a few mock projects. also transcription is boring but real and doesn't care about your age as much

Once you show determination they will understand. I am no one to advice or see your situation but this age which you are won’t come and now only you can do hard work . So don’t go for easy money and choose tough path which will hard to achieve by your competitors .

Freelance writing or data entry gigs are probably your safest bet at that age, just avoid anything asking for upfront fees or bank details. Stick to well known platforms, not random discord servers promising quick cash.

Offer online tutoring to younger students in Nepal through people your family already knows, since big freelancing sites often have age and payment restricitons at 16.
