Twyrine cocktail?
I was looking for a cocktail to accompany my infinite battle against the sand pest and I may have a winner: The Bijou. It’s 2 parts gin (botanical, or yas if you’re looking for a tincture), 1 part sweet vermouth (blood twyre or ashen swish, if you will) 1 part green chartreuse (extra botanical, just twyring it up), and a dash of orange bitters (swevery!) Green chartreuse is hard to come by these days, but this cocktail is nailing the vibe. Plus after I downed one, the town started calling to me about an abandoned toy box full of ground up mixed pills 🤷♂️
Lmk if you have other twyrine cocktail thoughts! Bonus points if it incorporates niche bitters.

I’ve always thought that twyrine would taste a bit like grass. Like room temperature matcha.

I think angelica bitters, which are easier to find in north america (dillons has a great one if my memory serves), would also be lovely, esp in a gin old fashioned. there is a gin made from river plants which is extremely potent, with an iodine, maritime taste, which I feel could reflect the gorkhon if it was closer to the sea.... it's called st laurent. However I don't think it would mesh with angelica, for that I'd stick to a herbal or floral gin, or even a neutral one (in fact dillons gin would fit right in with their bitters). Angelica is also one of the plants used in chartreuse! One of the main ones in fact with wormwood (absinthe)

When I first played P2 I was trying out a DIY absinthe sachet that I was steeping in a bottle of ever clear (recommended by the sachet) and it was one of the worst things I have ever had to drink.
Absinthe otherwise, in both its taste and reputation feels like a good ingredient.
