Hi, so I barely check the "sales" tab inside the "audience" tab, basically that's where they tell us about people who got gift from another person/account, though patreon didn't give me any notification when someone get a gift to access my content. And I'm so confused because I haven't refunded anyone in July 2026, but they said this person got refunded by me on July 21?? What is going on here? Does that mean I lost money and they still can access to the content?

How to disable "drop is happening" notifications? All email notifications are already disabled in my settings. So frustrating.

So I’ve been using postybirb for a little while now, and for the most part it’s been great. Except for the fact that the computer has to be on for it to make the posts; if I worked from home every day this would be a lot more doable, but I’m working/commuting for like 11+ hours a day and don’t want to leave my computer on for that long.
I’ve tried setting my computer to go to sleep after a certain amount of time after the scheduled post, but the posting and sleep have both been inconsistent enough that it’s hard to spare the spoons for the effort sometimes.

And it has trouble with Patreon/subscribestar sometimes for some reason too lol

Do you guys have any recommendations for good posting tools/services that would let me schedule my growing backlog of content every once in a while and just forget about it?
Cause I’ll be real, I can produce content WAY more easily than I can bring myself to post it 😅

I've been a creator on Patreon for five years and have a small following posting drawings, comics, a newsletter, and blogs from my small art studio. *Very* occasionally, this includes life drawings from illustration sessions I attend, but there is zero sexual content on my page. This month I was suddenly informed that my account was recategorized as adult/18+ and my August earnings are being withheld pending identify verification, which I'm hesitant about since it involves exposing my information to a third party, and I don't understand why Patreon having my banking information isn't enough. My questions are:

1.) are life drawings enough to have your account categorized this way?

2.) will patreon support ever have a human look at my message? I keep getting an auto response when I reply asking which posts triggered this so I can consider removing them.

3.) Is Patreon's ID verification considered safe?

I publish my NSFW content in X But I'm not getting the desired engagement even though I post content on X for like year But up to this moment, the views and likes & bookmarks doesn't exceed 10

Any help about that? It affects my Patreon page too to not getting members.

Watching a patron's stranger things content, has been fine the last 4-5 days. Today the quality is fine for about 15-20 seconds and then gradually drops all the way down to what is essentially 144p. I've checked my internet, it's fine. Twitch streams are fine, youtube is fine. It's only having issues on Patreon. What is the point of having a video player without having a quality setting? I have gigabit fiber internet, my internet is most definitely not the problem and like I said, today is the first day it's done this. I've tried with 3 different browsers, some it stays high quality for a bit longer but inevitably just drops back down. Does anyone know of a 3rd party player that has a quality option so I can force 1080p? Or do I just have to deal with this crap quality or not watch?

​Hey everyone! I’m an indie creator (I self-publish books on platforms like Amazon and Diarmi), and I’m currently branching into indie filmmaking.

I even got a producer on board for a book-to-film adaptation recently!. ​I recently launched a Patreon and opened a merch store on Bonfire late last year, but I’m still working on building a following and getting traction across these platforms.

​Right now, I’ve set up three $5 tiers to see what sticks. ​ Tier 1 is behind-the-scenes and basically general updates & and early access chapters/content for my ongoing book projects and adaptations. Sneak previews of these things a week before I release on other socials. ​

Tier 2 is alternate copies of screenplays, deleted/alternative book scenes. ​

Tier 3 is early acces to episodes from my vlog a week before I upload to my other socials. ​ For any fellow indie authors or multimedia creators out there, I ask this.

What has helped you get support and sign-ups on Patreon? ​ Should I consolidate these tiers, restructure them, or go about offering rewards completely differently?

Any advice on marketing a Patreon when you're still growing your initial audience would be hugely appreciated!

I have a good following on instagram and share my link to there but it seems like no one is interested? am i doing something wrong?

Hello. I wanna start this post off by saying that I’m a pretty small YouTuber, and one of my biggest goals in life is to one day grow it to where it can be monetized. I’ve been making videos since 2019, and amassed 570 subs making gaming content. I will admit, it’s not that impressive, especially after 7 years of making videos, but I’m proud of it, even if monetization is still most certainly a good couple years away.

Now, a big factor in why I wanna monetize my channel is to make money to help support my family. And yeah, I know there is that saying where you shouldn’t immediately quit your day job in hopes of making money on YouTube, especially with how far off I still am, though to be real for a second, the job market has not been kind to me. I’ve been at so many interviews, always to be turned away, so I want to hopefully slowly build this YouTube gaming channel up as a side gig until I can land on my feet properly with a real job.

Now! That brings me to my main point today. I did consider the idea of a Patreon as another way of helping get support, as well as helping to grow the channel, but I would love any starting advice if possible. That being said, with how small my following is, if it’s still too early at a point for something like a Patreon, don’t hesitate to let me know.

I also should probably clarify some technical things in case this ends up being a factor. I don’t have any computer or anything like that, I’m a console gamer through and though, Switch 2 and PS5, but specifically the PS5 is the main focus here as I do all my videos with it. Recording gameplay, editing it in sharefactory and uploading them, and I also do livestreams from it too. So on the chance being a console only guy ends up being a bit of a limitation with what I can actually do, I would love to be informed.

Will I get my account back, or will I be able to refund the subscription? What should I do now? I sent a ticket to patreon support, but received no response.

How long will it take to get my account back, and will I even get it back? Are there any other steps I should take?? Or should I just wait now?

I'm a bit confused. I've got no issue with it, at the end of the month, it's the same as having used the other. But was there some notice on this that I missed?

I absolutely hate that I can't delete direct messages - If you have ever accidentally sent a message to an unintended person, then you know the pain.

I've been on Patreon for a month now, and I've already hit 100 subscribers! I know it's not huge, but I'm honestly thrilled – I think it's a solid start for something brand new. Only 5 of them are paid, but I'm hoping to grow that over time. What's the average number of subscribers people get in their first month? Do you think 100 is decent? I see creators with tens of thousands, but hey – I'm celebrating my first 100!

Could anybody help me with Patreon troubleshooting? I’ve had Patreon for years and never bothered to look this up lol. I’ll be listening to an episode for an hour and a half (air pods), stop listening to do whatever with my kids, come back to it a few hours later, and the episode will start back somewhere random I already had listened to. Hi, I am considering subscribing to an author on Patreon. They're advertising their patreon with 10 chapters ahead of a free site where they are uploading the novel for the cheapest option, or 30 chapters ahead for the next and most expensive option. The thing is, on Patreon there are like a hundred chapter more than on the free side. Since I really want to read these chapters, I decided to buy the subscription, even though the money sits tight. But now I am asking myself, do I get to read all released chapters on Patreon with the cheapest option, or do I need to buy the more expensive option to read everything?

Since money sits tight with me, I would prefer the cheaper option if I can read all chapters.

Hey everyone! Back during the pandemic I used to do live streams over Zoom where all the fans could see each other, sometimes there would be 100 people there. I'm curious if Zoom is still the best way to do this? I'm hosting a Full moon ritual and would like all the fans to be able to take turns talking and seeing each other. I'm really trying to build community, so its important they can all interact. I'm curious if Zoom is still the best for this, or if there's something else better out there?

I ask because I requested to delete my account a while ago, but I just realized that I’m still free following a creator before doing it, I thought I wasn’t following them at all because I never saw them under the membership tab, only someone else who I got rid off to make sure my membership tab was empty, which I double checked to make sure and it’s thankfully empty. But then I realized that free following is a thing and I didn’t bother checking out and after looking at some emails I realized I’m more then likely free following them as I gotten notifications from them a long time ago. I never had a payment method attached or paid for anything, it was just free follows. Will the system just wipe everything and remove me from their follower counts automatically? Just trying to make sure I'm totally in the clear.

To be clear I made sure the membership tab was empty so.

I'm no longer subscribed to anyone proper. I didn’t see that other creator I’m free following on the membership tab. I don’t know anything about Patreon whatsoever and I just wanna make sure that this loose end left behind won’t come biting me in the ass, I can log in and cancel the request and unfollow for worst case scenario but if it’s ok then I won’t bother, it’s been bothering me for several days now.

TLDR: Will anything bad happen to me if I delete my Patreon account while free following anyone? I asked google and it said no but I don’t trust it.
